The room was a good size, comfortable and in a great location. However, there were a couple of issues that were disappointing. The air conditioning didn’t really work, which is not acceptable when the temperature outside is close to 40°C. The shower also had very low water pressure, making it difficult to enjoy a proper shower. Overall, the room and location were good, but these issues significantly affected the stay and could definitely be improved.

This is the perfect place to stay if you don’t need the frills of a fancy hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The room is located in walking distance to all major tourist attractions, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely book this room again.

Ripetta Rooms was wonderful! Great location: a 1 minute walk to Piazza Del Popolo, 10- 20 minute walks to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon. The room was charming, clean and spacious. We had a room with twin beds and a corner view of the street. Absolutely wonderful! This is not a hotel with a lobby or restaurant… but there are plenty of amazing eating places immediately on the streets below The caretaker Patrick was super friendly and kind. Went out his way to make us feel very welcome. Would absolutely come here again!.

The staff were very helpful & I can't thank David enough. Very helpful & gave me lots of info about where to eat & visit The hotel was very central & the room had more than enough amenities. The bed was very comfy. No view which was a bit of a shame but it was only used as a place to rest so not a major issue. The room could just do with a bit of an overhaul, some peeling on the ceilings & bathroom & the shower unit could be updated

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience so that others can make an informed decision before booking this property. This accommodation is advertised online as a 4-star hotel. In my opinion, that rating is completely misleading. What I found upon arrival was one of the most run-down properties I have ever stayed in, and certainly nowhere near the standard that most people would associate with a 4-star hotel. The condition of the building is extremely poor. The walls and communal areas are visibly worn, with cracked surfaces, peeling wallpaper, and a general lack of maintenance throughout. The room itself was equally disappointing. The air conditioning barely worked, the television was unreliable, the bed was uncomfortably hard, and the shower had both poor water pressure and drainage issues. The one genuinely positive aspect of my stay was the cleaner. She was kind, hardworking, and always willing to help. If anything at this property deserves a 4-star rating, it is her level of service. My biggest concern is that the online reviews and photographs do not accurately reflect the reality of the accommodation. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage potential guests to look beyond the headline rating and conduct thorough research before booking. This review is an honest account of my stay. I would not return, nor would I recommend this property to others. There are many accommodation options in Rome, go to them instead!

Looking out the window at all the passers by. In the heart of Rome. But when windows and curtains closed all noise and light blocked out. So close to everything. Very helpful staff. Reception great and helpful manager who responded immediately if needed. Beds great. Loved this place.

Fantastic little find in the HEART of Rome!

What a fantastic location. RIGHT in the heart of Rome and centrally located to so many of the iconic landmarks. This location was perfect for what we were looking for and at the price point, satisfied all of our needs. European rooms are smaller than American rooms regardless, so if you have a lot of luggage or more than 2 people, be prepared that you may need to verify the room size. For two people our room was the perfect size. If you are a very tall or larger individual, you may find the shower in our particular room fairly compact. Our contact (Marco) took care of setting up our transfers for us as well and was VERY attentive and helpful during our stay. The building was very quiet and you didn't hear any street or pedestrian noise. Depending on your cell provider you may or may not have reception due to the solid walls of the building, but wifi worked perfectly. If you are English speaking, be prepared, you are in Italy, so all of the TV channels are in Italian language as should be expected. We just watched our shows on our iPad. Housekeeping came by daily to refresh which was so nice to come back to after a long day of exploring.

The location is ideal, with key attractions easily accessible on foot. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. We would also like to commend the housekeeping staff for their great work. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return in the future.
