The location was good but on a noisy square. Check in was very confusing. There was no signage to indicate where the hotel even was once you got inside the building we wandered around, took the wrong elevator and had to go back outside again to try to figure it out.. the receptionist that finally came down and and brought us up did not speak English

Good stay in a fun neighbourhood!

The location was great and the check-in host was kind. It was a little difficult to find when using Google Maps. The room was comfortable with great shower pressure but as it is in Rome you will overpay for a property that should not cost $250 CAD a night. However, no real complaints!

This hotel and the staff was great. Super clean and the staff was so helpful. Also, if you are looking for a area in Rome where you will be away from all the tourist and get a true taste of Italy, stay in this neighborhood!

Our stay at Etruska was very pleasant. The room is very nice and newly remodeled. Fregenie is welcoming and pleasant host. He made our stay for 3 nights very comforting and enjoyable. We will definitely be back to this hotel.

We really enjoy the Trastevere area of Rome; The night life, the restaurants, the cobblestone roads, the historical buildings…il cuore di Rome, the heart of Rome. Having frequented this area a few times now, this is the best accommodation we have come across. It is clean, it is quiet, it is easy to access with self-entry, the elevator is new, and the added toiletries bonuses from slippers to a small kitchenette make all the difference. We recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to experience the heart of Rome from an affordable and convenient location. We will definitely stay here again in future! Grazie di tutti!

Bed and Breakfast Stay

This is a very cozy and personal place. The staff calls you to confirm your time of arrival the day before and/or same day to ensure you have a smooth check-in snd that someone will be available to let you in. The area is wonderful. This is your typical bed and breakfast with much care. I will definitely recommend it.

The rental was not what I expected! By the photos I thought it was an apartment with two beds in a hotel! Sadly the statement “luxury”should not be in the listing. This was a large apartment turned into several rooms within the apartment…one of the beds was a pull out couch and the other was a king size bed. The pullout was uncomfortably. We were very surprised to find ourselves in a neighborhood apartment building and not a hotel. The host was lovely and we very much appreciated her meeting us at the entry of the rooms.

Nice and comfortable room for a family of 4. The facility consists in an apartment with multiple private rooms (and bathrooms) within a building in the heart of Transtevere. Several good restaurants options in the area. Pretty close to Campo dei Fiori and about 30 min walk from main attractions (Pantheon, Spanish steps etc.). We had a very comfortable room for a family of 4. A good spot, recommended.

Owner was an hour late to let us into the property. Screamed and yelled at us. He threw my phone on the ground and made sexual gestures in front of my 6 year old son. Stay far away from this place!

Good place for a few nights stay

The actual room was comfortably, clean with plenty of toiletries, water etc. Its very close to restaurants and cafes. If you are driving, there isnt a very convenient place to park your car and unload so bare that in mind. We were able though after some frustration to find paid parking on the street not too far from the place, which worked out well as we were only staying for a night.

What a great experience!

Hotel is an apartment unit converted to full hotel rooms with a common lobby inside the unit. We called the number at check in and the attendant met us within 5 minutes and gave us a great check-in experience with lots of tips about the area. The rooms were perfect, just like a regular hotel but the lobby offered charm of a b&b. Wine, juice and pastries were left for guest daily and the lobby had most kitchen items you would need. The daily breakfast coupons for the café in the building were an added plus and the pastries were delicious. The off-site attendant and the onsite cleaning person were friendly, approachable and full of information. Trastevere is full of authentic Italian restaurants and bars and a short walk to markets and shopping. We could not have asked for more! thank you so much!

To be clear this is not a hotel. There is no front desk or anyone to provide assistance. This is actually a multistory apartment building from around 1920 or so. Some of the apartments have been divided up so each former apartment is now multiple rental rooms. To be clear, each room in the former apartment is now a separate rental. The rooms have been remodeled and they have new tile and bathroom fixtures. The area is very walkable and seemed safe. The courtyard and common areas of the building are dirty and not maintained. The elevator is a death trap. The room is very small and contains no furniture other that a bed. The mattress is similar to what you would find along side the road or perhaps in a homeless camp. It is impossible to sleep on and just looking at it produces anxiety of what diseases if might contain. This is a fine location and an ok room as long as you do not plan on sleeping and avoid the elevator. Other than the bed this is better that a youth hostile, but not by much.
