The room was nice and spacious but way too hot. The air conditioning was set to 24 degrees and you couldn’t adjust it yourself. The desk staff in the evening and late night were really rude. The location was great as close to the main train station. Nice cafes surrounding the hotel and there was also a supermarket near by.

I like how clean the rooms were. Very convenient location too and close to Roma Termini and walking distance to main attractions. The front desk staff could be a bit more friendly and welcoming, if you ask me. Otherwise, it’s a great hotel to stay for a night or two in Rome.

This little boutique hotel is exceptional and I would definitely stay there again. About 150 meters from the main train station and the room was wonderful. Very clean and tidy, also recently renovated with all the amenities one could ask for. The outside and the neighborhood are typical old Rome, but that's Rome. Lots of great outdoor restaurants right outside the front door. The hop on / hop off bus stops right outside the train station. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great location next to Roma Termini. My family of 4 needed a close stay for less than 24 hours before flying home and this property delivered. The handle on the bathroom was broken and fell on the floor, and the AC didn't work. No extras provided here (like toiletries) and its a "no frills" and very low key convenient spot.

Great location near Roma Termini so that traveling around is convenient, but beware that reviews on Expedia are not the closest reflection of the hotel (refer to Google reviews instead). And one of the restaurants recommended by the staff was tasty and affordable, with complimentary proseco We may have been unlucky during check in, or just given the lowest priority, but we arrived early for check-in and was told to come back at 2PM as rooms were not ready yet, so we did at 2PM and were told rooms were still not ready. However, while we were resting, I overheard another guest arriving and checking in without an issue with their room available within 10 minutes. I was slightly annoyed and went back out to explore Rome, returning around 6PM to see if our rooms were ready yet, and even then the receptionist had to call the cleaners to see if it was ready yet (or to rush them to do a shoddy clean). The rooms themselves were basic and adequate, and nice to have a nespresso machine and fridge, but the air conditioning could not be adjusted to lower temperatures (default ~23c), and I would NOT recommend eating the cupcakes available in the lobby area - those cupcakes were untouched for the entire week we were staying there.

A very nice room and friendly staff that really cares about their guests. Very clean and well-maintained. Located in the center of Rome, close to Termini station - this is a huge advantage if you want to explore Rome and other cities by train, bus and subway. There are a few good restaurants and coffee shops right outside the hotel, so if you are lazy, you can eat just a few steps away. The street outside is not too noisy and we vere feeling safe there as well. I have no problem to recommend Relais Marco Polo to other guests! Go for it, you won't regret!

Such a quaint boutique hotel super close to the Termini. The staff was exquisite! So helpful and kind! David was so happy to help me upon checkout with a broken suitcase I needed to get rid of, letting me checkout late, offering to hold my luggage if I needed, all with a smile. Fantastic service. The only downside was the thin walls. I could hear everything outside my room, but I would stay again in a heartbeat and just buy ear plugs : )

Location was absolutely amazing, at just 4 minutes walking distance from the Termini, it was super convenient. The room itself was really beautiful, extremely clean and spacious enough. There was a Nespresso machine for the first coffee of the day which was nice to have. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and super clean. Unfortunately this is where the positive points are ending. The hotel seemed to have undergone renovations recently, and it's a shame it was not done properly. The rice paper thin walls were half the reason why we were not able to rest at all. You can hear everything happening in the corridor and in the adjacent rooms, from people doing their "number two", to people actually fu**ing, to the maintenance staff starting their disrespectful fanfare before 6 in the morning, this is definitely not a place you will be able to sleep even with the best earplugs out there. To add insult to injury, there was no air conditioning, or at least, it was a "centrally" controlled one which is impossible to get under 25 C in the room. We were lucky it was not as hot as it's usually in Roma at this time of year.Other than that there was one of those extremely low quality chinese fridge which was not working, leading us to loose some food. Also the drain in the shower was completely clogged, you cannot let the shower run for more than 1-2 minutes at a time otherwise it will overflow on the floor, you have to wait for the drain to swallow very slowly before restarting it.

The hotel location was great two blocks from the train terminal. The staff was not very friendly in our first stay on the second stay a younger guy came back from vacation he was very nice. The first room was very nice the second stay the room was very run down and supposedly it was just renovated it also smelled like old. No early check in. For the price we paid it was not worth it.
