We have been to Rome before and we wanted to try a different area this time. We booked the family room at Relais Giulia. It is conveniently located near the Castel Sant Angelo. If this is your first time in Italy, this might not be a good spot as it is not very close to the main sites like Colosseum or Trevi fountain. However, it is still walkable, and it’s not far from the Vatican. The room was a fairly good size, with an attic space for the second bed for a family of three. The AC works. They have an elevator. Breakfast is not included unless you purchase that option. We were celebrating our anniversary, and informed them about it, but they didn’t do anything special for us. Overall, it is a good place to stay.

This was one of our favorite places that we stayed on our trip. Even though it was just from one night. The front desk gentleman was AWESOME! I cannot remember his name. But we arrived there on Sunday June 28th. We asked him for food recommendation, and he sent us to this amazing pizza place around the corner. Safe for walking we never felt scared. The owners of the restaurant we super nice and friendly they spent some time talking to us and getting to know us. Best Pizza we had on the whole trip. I believe it was called Buongiorno. Oh, and we were there in the middle of the heat wave. The AC was AMAZING!!

Situated in a very quiet road and it was great to come back from all the sights seeing to have a great quiet time. The rooms were very clean and comfortable but everything in the fridge was payable even water. The breakfast was continental which was good but don’t expect bacon and sausage. The air conditioning was a great as it helped cooling off after a long day out in the sun. Asci on reception was amazing, he was always friendly, polite and he was always making sure that our stay was comfortable and dealt with any issues or questions we had about the hotel and sightseeing. We would definitely stay there again.
