Great location, right next to the Spanish steps and everything is within a walkable distance. The road outside was loud but that really was the only downside, air con and clean room. Daily housekeeping and the free food and fridge contents was a lovely gesture. Would definitely book again.

there isn’t a better location in Italy to see everything in Rome. I was able to walk to the Vatican, the pantheon, the Trevi fountain, and staying on the steps was amazing!

Our experience was pleasant from beginning to end. The staff let us in and showed us the elevator and room amenities. It was 101 degrees in Rome that day and the air conditioning did not fail us! We had a nice view of the top area near the Spanish Steps and looked out over the Egyptian Oblesk. I would definitely recommend My Spanish Steps for sightseeing…it was very close to the A line subway!

Very nice property at the top of the Spanish steps. Room is clean and very spacious. A/C worked well during high 30’s Celsius. There is an elevator but there are about a dozen steps afterwards if your on the upper section. Not a big deal though. Property management was very friendly and helpful. Daily room service was nice to have. Only complaints is that we wanted use the in room espresso machine and the water tank was encrusted with what I believe was calcium. It was obviously not cleaned in quite some time. The only other issue was it’s at the top of the Spanish Steps so only way down is via the stairs , a elevator located in the metro station about 50meters away or walk down hill from the street. All in all nice place. If your are mobility challenged you may find it difficult.

The only thing keeping this from being a 1 star is the location which is at the top of the Spanish Steps. There is a convenient Taxi location next door and that is very helpful. The "hotel" is not marked in any way from the street and access is through a locked heavy wooden door that requires a separate key - only available after check-in. If our pre-arranged driver had not been in contact with the hotel before we arrived, I don't know how we would have gained entry. The check-in desk is located on the 1st floor (actually the 2nd floor) with no signage to indicate that. It is accessible by a very small elevator. The desk is manned only for a short time during the day with no way to access or contact anyone in management except through the Expedia messenger. We needed to leave for the airport at 6:30 am and there was no one on-site when we left. The room was clean, but spartan and there was coffee, water and a few snacks available in the room. The ONLY compelling advantage of this hotel is location to the Spanish Steps.

My husband and I were disappointed with the service from this place. We were told check in was at 8:30 and arrived to be told that the rooms would not be ready until after 12 pm. Traveling with all our luggage into Rome, we had planned on getting ready and freshening up in our room before heading out for the day. We forced to use to lobby bathroom to change, do my make up, freshen up, etc for the day. We had to be opening up our luggage and looking through our clothes there in the middle of the lobby. One of the other nights, there was a loud banging noise coming from the lower floor. It was constant and would not let us sleep as it was past midnight already. We messaged the manager and never received any message back even into the next day. We were disappointed with the customer service. This place had clean and nice rooms but the stay was ruined with the poor attention to the clients.
