Decepção! Péssimo lugar

o local vende-se como se fosse um hotel, mas eh um quarto independente dentro de um apartamento. Roupa de cama velha, cama velha, pintura antiga, a decepção foi muito grande ao chegar. Não é um hotel, eh um prédio residencial onde o locador eh detentor de um apartamento que desmembrou em três unidades.

The room is small and simple but very clean and the building/grounds are beautiful. The owner is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is tasty, a typical Italian breakfast at a bar right next to the b&b, consists of pastry and a coffee/juice. The room has a fridge and there are several small grocery stores nearby so one can save a little on food. Some reviews complained the neighborhood seemed unsafe. I initially was concerned myself but I think it is just the appearance of graffiti (which seems to be common through Rome) that gives this impression. I didn't not see anything concerning or scary and felt safe. Close to public transportation (metro station) made it convenient for all site seeing. This was an excellent value, I would absolutely stay here again!

Good local vibes

I thoroughly enjoyed this neighborhood. Connected to tourist and central Rome via metro, it was a very safe and local neighborhood. Eataly is just a few blocks away and a really lovely neighborhood that has single home buildings connected with communal courtyards and apartment buildings surrounds this apartment complex that houses the B&B. Upon leaving the subway, the trash and real-world facades of a community in Rome may be culturally different than the US, but it quickly relays the tight-knit community that lives there. This isn't a hotel experience, breakfast is in the neighborhood cafe/bar, where locals come in for their daily coffee. Panini, croissant or homemade cake accompanies the excellent espresso served with a smile and a Buon Giorno! Totally enjoyable.

Room was in a gated apartment block, which was very secure, safe in room which owner didnt charge for,very quiet block,very clean,metro 5 min walk away,3 stops to colosseo 1 euro 50 each way, then found we could walk from there, overall goog value for money

Été indien à Rome

Fabio fut un hôte charmant mais très peu présent. La chambre était simple et tranquille mais proposait peu de rangements ou même d'espace pour les valises et l'entrée sentait malheureusement le renfermé. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Rome, à proximité de la gare d'Ostiense, du métro B et de différentes lignes de bus, pratique, que ce soit pour aller vers le centre, les catacombes et la via Appia ou l'aéroport.

Great location

You are located in a residential area with a few restaurants, some shops and a supermarket within a few minutes walk. A metro station is about 5 minutes walk away which is really handy. Breakfast is a coffee quoissant and a juice in a typical Italian cafe 60seconds from the accommodation. The owner is very pleasant. The room is basic clean and has everything you need. All in all to be so close to the centre, with a nice breakfast in a nice area for this price represents excellent value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Très bon séjour, nous sommes resté que 3 jours mais cela nous a permis de découvrir Rome en étant très proche des trains pour se rendre en centre ville. L’hôte était très gentil avec nous et n'a pas hésité à nous offrir ses conseils et aide.

Would love to come again..

Had a wonderful 7 day stay at Le 4 Meraviglie. Things were easy and felt very comfortable. Five minutes walk to Metro station which was much needed by me. Fabio is a superb host and explained everything and was always available for any assistance. Breakfast was really nice which was available in a bar nearby and they make super sandwiches with awesome coffee. All in all had nice time. Thanks Fabio! Ciao!

Not bad overall

Some pros: -Within 10 min walk to both train stations (airport train and metro), it's only a 10 min metro ride to termini which is the main station and about 45 min to the airport using the Roma Ostiense station -Location is quite safe - never had any problems when walking home from the train station even at 1AM -Nice, big bed -The owner is very friendly, stayed up until midnight to meet us, told us about things nearby, was happy to help with anything we needed -Air conditioning was new and worked very well (a must for the summer) -Water pressure is solid -Breakfast place is right next door, has great croissants and very friendly staff -Wifi is generally quite good, much better than any chain hotel I've ever stayed in Possible improvements: -No hooks/ledges in the bathroom for your stuff -The TV was 13 inches and old school -The washroom "door" is a slide across Overall a good place to stay and a place I'd stay again. It's a good place to be with an intimate partner, but if you're a couple of friends then it's probably not ideal as you'll hear everything from the bathroom.

Very calm neighborhood and nearby to metro

Fabio is a very good hospitable person. He waited for us and received us very well. Gave very good guidance. The B&B is very near to a super market, where you can buy many things for very less price. The B&B is near to "Garbatella" metro stop, from there the major touristic spots are 2 metro stops (< 10 mins) away. Very calm neighborhood. The rooms are clean and spacious enough, but the rooms and flooring are bit old. There was kind of Old odor (like that in a Cellar) in the room. Unfortunately we are allergic to dust and this old odor, this has given us problems. Apart from that, we had a very nice experience.

Great hotel!

Friendly staff! Had no issues and was very satisfied with everything! Even though the neighborhood seems a little scary I felt very safe and welcomed by the staff and even at the breakfast bar! Would recommend! Location is also great for walking! Easy route to the colosseum just a longer trek.

Wir waren zwei Paare um Rom zu erkunden. Für eine Städtereise ist diese Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen, auch wenn die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind. In einem Restaurant oder einer der Bars in der Umgebung, kann man den Abend gemütlich ausklingen lassen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist da das La Locanda della Chianina. Sehr nettes Personal und leckeres Essen, wie frisches Steak oder Filet aus der Fleischtheke, wo man sich das Fleisch aussuchen kann. Es gibt aber auch Pizza oder Nudeln.

The best trip in Rome

The location is excellent. Just a few minutes walk from metro line B Garbatella station. Only 2 stops away from Colloseum.The room was extra clean and confy in a nice building with flowers. The owner, Fabio is a sweetheart. I ve never seen again such a friendly and caring host. The coffee outside shop which serves the breakfast has excellent sandwitches. I ll make sure i ll spread the word to all my friends.
