Beautiful spot outside of Rome!

Such a beautiful property with a cool area a 5 min walk to nice restaurants! The owners got up early to give us a quick breakfast before our taxi arrived to head to the airport! The homemade ricotta strawberry jam tart was absolutely delicious!!

We just had a quick stay on our way to the airport but the home and hosts are lovely. Far from the hustle of Rome’s city center, the guest house provided a comfortable stay in a neighborhood of local residents.

It is a little further from most things, not overly walkable, but if peace and relaxation is what you are looking for, this is perfection. We loved it here.

This property is truly a gem! From the location to the style, convenience, and overall atmosphere — everything exceeded our expectations. We needed a place to stay overnight that was not far from the airport and close to the autostrada, as we were heading to the Amalfi Coast the next morning, and this spot was absolutely perfect for that. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully styled. The view from the property was stunning and made our short stay feel extra special. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared — a great way to start the day. Service was warm and welcoming, and the entire experience felt smooth and relaxed. It’s peaceful and quiet, which we really appreciated after a day of travel. We already can’t wait to come back!

La Gaura Guest House is a beautiful and spacious property. It's quiet and unique, with a kind, welcoming staff. We really enjoyed the pool, which is located in such a beautiful garden. The homemade breakfast was delicious. This was a perfect place to rest and relax after our very busy time in Rome. I would love to return!

I truly felt like this is how the other half live! When our taxi driver dropped us off, he said that the neighborhood was the Beverly Hills of Rome! The house was beautiful and very well kept. The staff were wonderful, and breakfast in the garden was absolutely perfect! All of the amenities that you expect in a good hotel, with much more privacy. There is a shopping plaza and restaurants within walking distance, but it’s not handy to the train or downtown. Ideal if you have a car, or don’t mind taxis. I hope that I will get to stay there again!

very nice people that own the house along with their staff.. couldn’t say anything bad about them… i do have some complaints though. first of all there are 3 flights of stairs that progressively get more narrow so if you’re handicap and or have very heavy suitcases don’t bother with this one. second of all there was absolutely no shower only a bathtub with a extendable shower head on it, we had to sit down to shower. next we booked 2 beds and when we walked in there was only one bed, when we asked if we could have an extra blanket and pillow the guy asked us if we were going to grab dinner after we had just got off a 12 hour flight and we’re extremely tired… we were very confused but the very nice staff put the bed together when we got home after the next day. The next thing is that the mosquitoes are very bad i don’t think it has something to do with this house in particular but italy in general nevertheless we got very bit up and had to make sure we were sprayed down at all times with mosquito spray. other than that are stay was good.

This place was a real find. The staff were excellent, the grounds are beautiful, the pool was a delight, our room was excellent. I don’t mean to try to overdue my review, but I don’t think I could. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a stay in this area. You might want to have a car to be able to dine out from here

It was a very nice artistic home with lots of nice space and a very beautiful garden. It was extremely clean and the location was perfect . The owner’s daughter was a very kind caring lady. We will surely go back when another chance arises.
