Staff was extremely polite and helpful. Did not love that electric power only worked when in the room, so could not leave things charging and the ac only worked when there (so it was usually around 90F when we got back to the room), but apart from that was well located and easy to get around.

The property was close to the metro and public transportation. However, the surrounding areas did not appear safe. You have no control of the AC so the room was very hot. The staff were very friendly.

Nice location, closish to station, opposite a mini supermarket and about 20 minute walk to colosseum. Very simple double room, no iron or kettle for tea/coffee. Breakfast was decent. Wouldn't mind coming again due to good location and price, wish there were a few more amenities.

We spent 3 nights at Hotel San Giovanni Roma and truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood but still offers easy access to the center of Rome via public transportation. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. One of the highlights was the wonderful breakfast each morning—fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and helpful, always ready with a smile and great local advice. A relaxing and convenient base for exploring the Eternal City. Highly recommended!

The area was quiet but a close walk to the colosseum which was nice. Only wish that there were more amenities in the rooms i.e. a kettle, ironing board, closed clothing area, suitcase rack. It was quite a small room so be wary for those with 2 or more luggage! Otherwise the staff were lovely and we would happily stay here again!

really like this hotel for.the price, and the staff and location are great. I do tend to forget how uncomfortable the beds are until I'm there though, and I wish they had a rate that didn't include breakfast as I never eat breakfast
