Very clean and well maintained. Nearby the Jewish Ghetto and the Great synagogue, so walking to the kosher restaurants is easy. Hotel provides kosher breakfast upon request. They get pastries from the kosher bakery. The person in charge of the breakfast told us exactly what is kosher and what is not. He even said they keep a separate kosher knife to cut the fruits and vegetables.

This was our second stay at Hotel Monte Cenci, and once again we had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect — we could easily walk to many of Rome’s main attractions, making it easy and enjoyable to explore the city. What makes this small hotel truly special is the human touch. The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, and Paolo, the owner, made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. His friendly presence and care for his guests create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is hard to find and we truly appreciated it. The hotel is in a beautiful old building with a lot of character, but inside it has been thoughtfully renovated and is extremely comfortable and very well maintained. It is a wonderful blend of historic charm and modern comfort. We were so happy to return to Hotel Monte Cenci and hope to be back again. It is a special place with a perfect location, lovely people, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home in Rome.
