The location of the hotel was perfect. We were close enough to restaurants and within walking distance of most places like Colosseum, Trevi Fountain etc but far enough away that we left the window open all night to complete silence. The staff were more than wonderful. They were so helpful and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was delicious as well.

The rooms are VERY small. The beds are hard as concrete. The shower is so small you absolutely can not shave your legs without opening the door. With that being said, the staff is wonderful, I felt safe in this area. The breakfast had a nice selection and overall the hotel is clean. It just wasn't very comfortable to sleep, shower or get ready for the day.

Hotel Colosseum was the perfect start to our trip to Italy. The staff were so welcoming and made check-in easy after a long travel day. Excellent combination of a hotel on a quiet street but near bus routes and eateries. The hotel staff was especially friendly and helpful. They serve a good breakfast, store luggage after check out and keep the rooms and public areas clean. There is also a nice view from the rooftop terrace. Rooms and bathrooms are small due to the urban location but we loved our stay here.
