Outside of the fact that this hotel is central and close to some of the attractions, as well as friendly staff, i was not impressed with the hotel itself. The rooms are dated, furniture uncomfortable, somewhat not very clean. Rooms are basic for rates charged. Mattress a bit hard, pillows were old and very thin, low quality sheets. Breakfast was average and small selection. However dinner and service at the hotel restaurant was great.

Super helpful staff and very nice rooms and comfortable beds. Very friendly room servicing crew and doorman. An AMAZING breakfast, with large variety of cold options, croissants, bread, muffins, jams, fresh honey, fresh ripe fruits, and made-to-order eggs, and super tasty, freshly-squeezed orange juice, tea, coffee, expresso - we always had a nice breakfast!! Decor is definitely “retro” and inviting to gathering of friends in the lobby for talking and having out. Although the old-style keys for doors and lights was a surprise, the very decorative key rings made up for it - very stylish! Location of this hotel is very central, very easily walkable to many restaurants, even a nice, longer walk all the way to the Vatican.
