This hotel was exceptional - from the beautiful layout of the property with all its greenery, to the huge room with the comfiest bed, the impressive breakfast spread to the friendly staff. Even the resident tortoise was charming. Trastevere is a really lovely area to stay in and this hotel is close enough to the action but also remarkably quiet and private. So close to the river and walkable to central Rome. Will definitely be back!

The location was perfect - so close to the busy streets and nightlife of Trastevere. However, whilst we were only a few minutes walk from it all, the hotel was an oasis of peace. The plants were what drew me to book and the gardens didn’t disappoint. A beautiful setting and decor was the perfect accompaniment. Staff were helpful and nice to speak with each day, particularly at breakfast. The food was very tasty with a great range of local and more typical breakfast foods. The room was decorated for our special occasion which was greatly appreciated. Only small issue was with our door handle that came off, but it didn’t cause any issue and the staff were quick to offer help. Would certainly recommend booking Horti 14.

The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. We really loved the included hotel breakfast too. The place felt like a tropical oasis in the middle of Rome. The only real drawback to us was proximity to the key sights, coffee shops, restaurants annd public transportation etc.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in Italy. From the moment I arrived, the team gave me such a warm welcome that immediately made me feel at home. The location is absolutely perfect, and the atmosphere is so peaceful that even my baby slept soundly through the night. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and attentive. A very special thank you to Ramona — she is truly outstanding and made our stay even more memorable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and look forward to returning on my next visit!

We loved this place so much! The staff was so delightful and helpful. The room is super spacious and well cooled. We got a free bottle of prosecco which we enjoyed at the bar with some yummy snacks and a very sweet bartender. The breakfast was incredible! So much better than anything in the states. Highly, highly recommend this place! I look forward to staying here again.

While the property was still under renovations so we couldn’t see the finished product, our room was fantastic and staff was super friendly. Breakfast was perfect as well. Only negative is there aren’t any amenities within the immediate area for a quick bite but within 10 minutes so not bad - location was perfect for quick access to airport and almost no traffic so easy for taxi pick up with dedicated motor court.

Great location!

It was the perfect place! Great location you can walk to the Vatican which was a huge plus. The front desk employees were the nicest people! The room was really nice and super comfortable. Highly recommend!

Horti 14 Borgo Trastevere was sublime in all the ways. Staff all fluent in English and super friendly, attentive and efficient. The grounds felt like a botany oasis, green and luscious. The breakfasts were outstanding. The rooms very clean, modern and equipped. Location peaceful yet well placed. I will return without a doubt whenever returning to the Roma area, this is a jewel of a destination and stay.

We loved the hotel--the location was great but a bit set back from the action, it was an easy 10 minute walk into the heart of Trastevere! We appreciated the quiet. The service as amazing, great team. The breakfast was elaborate and delicious!
