Extremely clean and well-maintained property. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and quiet; also, as a foreigner, the air conditioning was greatly appreciated. The host Gloria is an absolute delight and will make you feel right at home; it is very obvious that she takes great pride in her property and in providing a fantastic experience for guests. Located in a safe, walkable neighborhood that is perfect walking distance from the tourist attractions (20 minute walk to Colosseum, ~1 hour walk to Vatican City), but with the added benefit of returning to a charming and quiet neighborhood at the end of the day. I have absolutely no complaints about my stay here, and I highly recommend Villa Poerio to anyone visting Rome! When I return, this is where I will choose to stay.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The receptionist was very kind and supportive, and our room was clean and organized. The property is located on a hill but offers easy access to the city, which is about 30 minutes away by train. Our experience would have been better if we hadn't heard footsteps and vacuuming sounds from the upper floors in the middle of the night or early morning. Overall I would highly recommend.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a beautiful location. The hotel is newly renovated. The rooms are amazing! Beautiful decor and new amenities. It is located in a beautiful area just on the outskirts of the trendy Trastevere. In a beautiful quiet street. Getting to the major attractions in Rome is super easy. Bus route is directly on the street of the hotel. Less than a minute walk to the bus stop. Owners are so nice and helpful. Very hospitable. Room service is not done daily. If you run out of anything like toilet paper, towels, tissues, the owners are an email away. I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed there during Easter holidays and they had literally just opened up. Everything was brand new and really tastefully decorated. Attention to detail was immeculate, toiletries of very high standard and a mini bar included. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. We chose this location as it's away from the touristy part of the city but close enough for easy access. It's within walking distance to Trastevere and it's many restaurants but you can also get an insight into how locals live if you choose something closer to the property.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The apartment is located in a beautiful, quiet, and safe neighborhood, making it a relaxing place to come back to after a day of exploring Rome. The apartment itself was comfortable and well maintained. A special thank you to Gloria at the front desk, who was absolutely amazing. She was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Her excellent customer service truly made us feel at home. The only reason for the 4-star rating is the location. While the property is advertised as being close to Trastevere, it was about a 20-minute walk away, and the historic center was approximately a 45-minute walk. During the summer heat, walking those distances wasn’t very practical, so we ended up spending more on taxis and Uber than we had anticipated. One other thing to note is that the bedroom does not have a door. This wasn’t an issue for us since we were traveling as a family, but guests who value more privacy may want to keep that in mind. If it’s your first time visiting Rome and you plan to spend most of your time sightseeing, staying closer to the historic center may be more convenient. However, if you value a peaceful neighborhood and don’t mind using transportation, this is still a lovely place to stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in Rome! The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to come back to after a long day of exploring the city. We also really appreciated how secure and private everything felt, which made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The service was superb, and a very special shoutout to Gloria, who was truly the kindest! She was so accommodating, agreeable, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We loved our stay and the host was so friendly and helpful. The room was big and set up like a suite. We had beds in separate areas which was lovely. The place is spotlessly clean and modern. The balcony was very cute. The area is very quiet and felt safe, especially the way the hotel was secured. We needed to take transit for some attractions as it’s a very long walk. Only other downside is we were there during an extreme heat wave and having water stocked each day would have been helpful but it was provided if we asked. And our AC worked great. All in all I would highly recommend!
