Amazing hotel. The exterior is misleading - once you get inside, it's totally upgraded and modern. Clean, modern rooms and amenities. Staff is gracious and helpful. We stayed 2 nights before heading to Sicily, then had to return to Rome early because Mt. Etna was erupting, and we didn't want to miss our flight back to the US. So we stayed 2 more nights here, and it was fantastic. Easy walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Easy to orient yourself to the rest of the city so that you can feel confident to explore on foot. Breakfast was fantastic; it had a little something for every traveler and, of course, great traditional Italian cakes and sweets. The hotel bar was great too. Can't say enough good things about this place. I travel quite a bit in the US for work, and they usually place us at Omni or Four Seasons hotels; this place is on that level in delivering a modern experience. This hotel is a gem! The rooms are large and soundproofed. A/C was strong and consistent. While we were in Rome, it was consistently in the high 90s, so great A/C was heaven-sent to retreat back to. 100% would stay here again and will be recommending it to anyone I know traveling to Rome. Thank you!!

Location is a few minutes walking to the Colesseum along with just walking around various streets to discover restaurant and shopping gems!
