Cozy apartment in the heart of Rome, equal walking distance to trastevere and the sights of the Roman centre. Great place to spend 2 nights.

The room was convenient and relatively quiet in this part of the Centro Storico. The price was good, the room was of ample size (for Rome!), clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

Very old building with renovated rooms. Lots of stairs. Plumbing is a problem with property. No coffee in room and no breakfast options. Dealt with 3 different front desk staff. One was very nervous (maybe brand new). Check in took 30 minutes (4 rooms). The other 2 agents were extremely good and helpful. I don’t think they have a maintenance staff which led to us having to change rooms. Location excellent for restaurants and shopping but it is in a very narrow alley. Street noise a problem late at night.

The hotel has a great location, very close to everything in Rome and easy to walk around. The outside of the building looks a bit old (like many places in Rome), and the hallway to the rooms could use some fresh paint and a deep clean. But the rooms are nice and clean, the staff is super friendly, and overall it was a good stay.

Prime location in the centre of everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bright sunshine in our place but also blackout blinds when adjusting to time zone change. We really enjoyed Domus Ester

Property location very good. It was close by dinning places like Trastevere & Campo de Fiori. Our rooms are cleaned every day, bathroom is nice and clean too. The staff are very friendly & easy to talk to. Over all our stay was great! Some cons are: our room was directly above the ground floor restaurant & was quite noisy at night during their opening ours. We just close the windows to avoid this.

The staff was so friendly and willing to help with anything you need! The rooms were very clean however the bathrooms are extremely small so keep that in mind when booking. Other than that, it was an amazing stay!

Good value for money

For the price and location this hotel was good value. It was basic and definitely needs some updating. Overall we would recommend if you're not looking for luxury, and need a central place to stay where you can walk to all the attractions, cafes and restaurants.

Great location- 20-30 minute walk to all major sites and 10 minutes to the best food area in the city (Trast). Simple accommodations exactly as advertised. I’d recommend this to someone looking for a central location for a reasonable price!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Climbing the 4 set of stairs to get to the third floor, we were met with a broken window, the smell of mold everywhere, & a metal panel box with the metal doors bent backwards. We had made a request prior to checking in to have a bottle of prosecco/wine, fruit, & flowers. When we entered the room, we were met with a bouquet of roses that were on the brink of wilting & sitting in yellow water. There was a bowl of fruit & after seeing the flowers, I wouldn't eat them. We also received packaged chocolate & a bottle of white wine. We decided that for the amount we paid for our stay & the other options in the area for a few euros more, we decided to meet with the manager & let them know that we would not be staying here due to the conditions & that we understand them charging us for the first night but would like a refund for the other three days. The manager called her supervisor to discuss what they could do, & the response was "there is no mold, the smell is from the AC in the room being turned on for the fruit & if we wanted to move to the first floor we could." We decided against it due to the mold we were getting headaches from & paid for our special request & left. When we requested a refund for the other nights, they declined saying that we did not give them a chance to fix the issue & that my husband slammed the door when we left, which was not true as I was standing outside the door & never once saw or heard a door slam. Do not waste your money here.

Incorrect info. Given by staff member. No place to hold soap in shower so open shower door to get soap and shampoo and water from shower floods the bathroom. The room is very clean but the entrance of the building to the second floor is filthy. No holder for toilet paper. Good location if you don’t mind the street being so dirty. the bathroom

Below average- but lovely staff

Reception staff were truly lovely and helpful. The building itself is not in great condition. The walls in the room were so thin I could hear the couple next doors entire conversation word for word. The bed was comfy and clean. The bathroom had a sewage like smell and the sink was stuck with the plug in. By the time I knew this no one was available and I left before reception opened the next day. Over all, it’s a budget level hotel that could do with some investment in re painting and tiling through the entrance, and serious sound proofing efforts. Your truly wonderful reception staff deserve to work in a building they can be very proud of. The communication with them was 11/10. The stay it’s self I would give 4/10. For what I paid, it was not impressive. I don’t wish to be able to hear snoring through the walls. Improve or lower prices.

Localization is really good, we could do everything walking. But the cleaness and maintenance need to be improved. There was mold in the bathroom

The young lady running registration was slow and apparently not very experienced. She could not get the credit card system to work. The stairs going up to the rooms were poorly lit and in bad need of paint/renovation. Older building therefore older rooms that may have experienced some renovation but strangely laid out and not guest friendly as in no counter space for toothbrush, cosmetics, etc. There was a very wet, shower mat laying on the bottom of our shower stall. The only thing that worked well was the very expensive transportation to the airport the morning we left. €80 for two people. The other positive thing I would note is that it was centrally located in the middle of Rome.
