The property is in an excellent location, and the building itself is beautiful. Our room was also very clean. Unfortunately, there were several issues that took away from the experience. Each bed had only a single top sheet, with no blanket or other covering provided. The bathroom setup was also very awkward and felt makeshift. The shower door actually hit the toilet and could not close properly. Also. Whoever designed the bathroom didn’t do such a great job… the shower door didn’t close properly which resulted in the bathroom flooding after EVERY shower. The floor remained wet throughout much of our stay. The Expedia listing also stated that housekeeping would be provided once per stay, but we did not receive any housekeeping service. Communication could’ve been better as well. I messaged the property a few days before our arrival to ask whether we could store our luggage before check-in and never received a response. One important thing future guests should know: you need an active mobile data plan or access to Wi-Fi outside the property to enter the building and your room. The virtual key is web-based, so without an internet connection you may have difficulty accessing the property. Overall, the location, cleanliness, and beautiful building were definite positives. However, given the bedding, bathroom setup, lack of housekeeping, and communication issues, the accommodations themselves felt more like a makeshift college dorm than a professionally managed guest property.

Additionally, I would like to share some feedback about our stay. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed, if not unhappy. As you’ll see in the photos I’ve attached, it feels like we paid hotel prices for what is essentially a student apartment. The first thing we saw upon entering was what appeared to be a laundry area, with used towels and linens in plain view. The corridor leading to the apartment was unclean and gave the impression of being under constant renovation. Inside the room, the condition was equally poor and unacceptable: the desk was completely broken, the lamps were unusable because the cords didn’t reach any outlet, the pillows and bed had a noticeable smell of sweat, and the furniture was cheap and noticeably worn. While the location is indeed good, the overall experience was let down by the substandard condition of the apartment and lack of attention to detail.
