Vacations Close To Rogue Ales Microbrewery

We spent 5 days at Hotel Lucia. Overall our stay was nice. The hotel is downtown and well located, easy to reach by public transportation. Clean room and hotel, friendly staff. The only major complaint is that we paid extra for Continental Breakfast for our stay and I think that people in the lobby had more options for coffee than we did in the deserted breakfast room, with our old cup of Joe and wrapped-up hard bagel. Ramada Inn breakfast is more luxurious... After a poor experience on day 1, we had breakfast elsewhere every day, and on a longer stay this is not ideal. Not sure why breakfast is offered, as I think the hotel experience would be better without it. They do have a nice happy hour in the lobby every day. But I would have preferred breakfast.

It's a nice hotel but nowhere near luxury class and was overpriced. Paid almost 30 for a tiny piece of fish. Was told it came with peas when we asked what it came with. There were literally 12 peas. So I guess technically it came with peas. After eating the 4 bites of fish, we went out for dinner after dinner. Luxury prices but not a luxury experience.

I had an issue with the AC that was not resolved and my room was so hot, that had to sleep with the windows open. I raised the issue three times and was told twice that a technician would come. The third time, I was told that there was no AC, and all they could provide was a fan. As a seperate problem, it was not clear that you had to request a room clean, and when I finally asked on my third day all they did was empty the trash and provide a couple new towels. Nothing was cleaned. They didn't even make the bed ??!!

Clean room, facilities and comfortable bed/pillows! We looooove the architecture of this entire building and having it be attached to three dining/bar options is so nice. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything was lovely besides the parking. Parking wasn’t terrible since I came on a weekday, I just don’t like how it’s setup & the fact that they don’t have a designated area for the hotel (besides the 10 open spots across the street)

The hotel is conveniently located just off the highway in a quiet area, away from the busy downtown core. For a hotel that is over 100 years old, it has been well maintained and is in good condition. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, and the bathtub drains slowly while showering. There are also some signs of wear in the room, but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning in the future.
