Sad to see this historically friendly hotel now staffed by a number of very unimpressive people. Older women at dinner and younger professional woman at breakfast being the exception.”

“Disappointing - this was not a "castle like" building. At first glance it looked pretty great (once we found it - google maps sent us across the roadway), but reception was stationed at the bar; not the reception desk.
Okay... crisps were 2£ for each wee bag at the bar. The restaurant was not open for dinner on Sunday or Monday... given the VERY out of the way location we this was problematic.
The king's suite only had a double bed... not even a queen. The shower didn't drain and required...

“The Links Hotel is beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. We stayed in the newer building and when we walked into our room my first response was how much I loved the colors. Our room had a view of Royal Dornoch Golf Course.
The bed was comfortable, the sitting area very nice and situated to the view. The huge bathroom was spacious and luxurious.
We arrived to two little glass bottles of an Auld Fashioned with shortbread—yummy! There is an espresso machine and tea service outside the rooms...
