This house was in a perfect location next to great restaurants and an amazing walking path! It’s also perfectly maintained and clean. The only item that could have been improved was the shower. It has a low flow shower head, which means not a lot of water pressure. We did have a great visit and plan to visit again.

I loved the quietness of the property. It was extremely well maintained and clean. My only complaint is that the temperature of the water in the shower was completely impossible to regulate. It was either extremely hot or freezing cold. I followed the instructions inside given, however, I was never able to get the shower water at a comfortable level.

River & Twine Tiny home was a great place to stay for the evening. The Mills house several restaurants a coffee shop and several breweries. We love biking and the trails near the Tar River were so nice There was an asphalt and boardwalk type. Great stop all around and enjoy the waterfallls.

We had a very nice stay in the Lockwood Folly unit. Clean and comfortable. We never stayed in a tiny house before, had a good experience. You do need to be flexible as accessing the bed could be challenging for some.

This tiny house village was very cute and the house I was in was very cute and very clean. But tiny house living is not for everyone. I decided to try it and it was my first time and last time unless the next tiny house is one level. You need to be a contortionist to get up to the loft and get into the bed. The showerhead was pointless, especially for someone with long hair or curly hair trying to get shampoo out of their hair. I was there for only two nights and didn’t even bother. Turning the sofa into a bed is an OK idea but some kind of rubber material needs to be added so that the cushions which are now the mattress don’t keep sliding off. I was a little disturbed by the fact that there’s no sink in the bathroom so you have to wash your face, brush your teeth and spit in the kitchen sink. The house is very very brightly lit, but in the evening it would’ve been nice to have just a small lamp as you relax and watch television. And this may have been just the house that I was in and maybe because it had rained so hard but the house started to smell like a toilet and it was very annoying. I would recommend anyone to try tiny house living just to see if it’s something they can enjoy.

Great location next to the Mill & it's breweries. Very clean & quiet. Didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, but happy it was available. Only thing missing was a top sheet on the bed. Water pressure in the shower wasn't great, but to be expected in this type of eco friendly setup.

A Fun and Unusual Place To Stay

It is an interesting and different place to stay. My granddaughter love staying here because she feels like she is staying in a dollhouse. It is clean and well organized. Making the steps to the loft may be challenging to those with physical limitations. The location is in walking distance to many restaurants and microbreweries.

We absolutely loved staying here on our way further North. We wish we could have stay’d more than one night. Surprisingly cozy and quiet. We felt safe and had a lot of options within walking distance for food and drinks. Even though some of the homes are close together, we never heard our neighbors and it was booked solid the night we were there. Check in and out was seamless. We simply loved it. Easy door access. Adorable, clean, warm and cozy. Loft bed super comfortable. Location of tv was perfect for loft and main floor viewing. Looking forward to staying in a different next time too!!
