The Coffee House as always was excellent. In Central Rockhampton. The Breakfast/Lunch Restaurant provided excellent food and Coffee at Reasonable cost. The Managers are Friendly and Chatty.

We were excited to stay based on online reviews, photos, and the café's location. However, after staying overnight, we decided against having breakfast. The check-in experience was unpleasant and rude, but the parking was excellent. The room was in poor condition, with holes in the walls, doors, and shower where items were broken or relocated but not patched, painted, or fixed. The furniture was battered, the vanity had paint marks and was worn, and the floor had cracked tiles, some replaced with mismatched tiles. The bed had springs poking through, making for an uncomfortable sleep. Although we expected a relatively quiet location, the access door right outside our room banged frequently with turning traffic. We would not stay here again.
