The best thing about this hotel is Ismelda, the friendly and super-hardworking manager of the breakfast room. I hope she never retires. Next comes the food. An impressive breakfast spread, from oatmeal with your choice of toppings to bacon and eggs and sausage with toast or bagels and fresh fruit. And all free! The hotel itself is beginning to show its age a bit, with faucets that stick a little and a not-so-effective bathroom fan, but everything is clean and in good repair, and you can't beat the easy-on and easy off access to the freeway. We always stay here en route to points farther north.
