I absolutely loved every minute of my stay in this quaint little inn-style hotel!!! Best hotel experience I’ve had in years!! Rooms have a very generous size. Bed was very comfortable and tv was fun. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The hotel is very worn, that is probably the reason for the renovations being done. What bothers me most is we booked a whirlpool room midweek, the shower head/handle was broken and difficult to use. The caulk around the whilpool was cracked and missing. There is strong smell of mold. Rusty grit came out of the whirlpool jets. The desk chair has areas that are wornn through the upolstery. The pool area was also closed, which was disapointing. The price of $133 is wayvover priced.

Nice, clean and solid place to stay. We have been staying here for years for NIU games. It is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. It is slightly dated and some things, like the pool and caulking around the tub could use some attention. They allowed us to use the meeting room for a pizza dinner with our group of 13. Which was a big bonus.
