Renovating the rooms takes time. The mattress and pillows were comfortable . The handicapped shower was new & nice, as was the bathroom sink area. In time carpet should be replaced and the walls painted.

My husband & I came up for the New Year to visit family. I had booked another hotel and we were so disappointed with our accommodations and came here and Syd was so amazing & accommodating! I absolutely loved every minute of my stay in this quaint little inn-style hotel!!! Best hotel experience I’ve had in years!! Rooms have a very generous size. Bed was very comfortable and tv was fun. Nice, clean and solid place to stay. We have been staying here for years for NIU games. It is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. It is slightly dated and some things, like the pool and caulking around the tub could use some attention. They allowed us to use the meeting room for a pizza dinner with our group of 13. Which was a big bonus.
