We moved to the Quality Inn after a terrible night at the Super 8 by Wyndham across the street. The clerk at check in was nice, the room was clean and pretty up to date.

Although the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the overall condition of the hotel was extremely disappointing. Our first room had visible roaches, dirty linens, a refrigerator with spoiled food still inside, and a stained chair — it was clear the room had not been properly cleaned or inspected. We were moved to another room, but it had a strong mildew smell, which made it hard to relax. While the customer service was appreciated, the housekeeping team really needs to pay closer attention to detail.

The room was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled like smoke. There was a fair a fair amount of hair in the bathtub. I found a dirty spoon with food residue that was on a high self. One of the clean towels had been placed on top of the spoon. (The shelf was high. The spoon was probably hard to see) The floor was sticky. The staff was very friendly. The rooms had a good design. I would be willing to stay there again.

This hotel has comfy beds. But it is old. A/C works, but it's very noisy. "Breakfast" was awful. The only options were waffles (but the waffle mix was empty), yogurt, or cereal. The staff were all friendly and helpful. In my room, the curtains were pulled off the wall on one end and would not close. The floors were hard laminate. This is an upgrade from my last stay here a few years ago. This is one of the only hotels in the area. And it appears to be almost full every night. But it is not "Quality".

I appreciated the staff. Very kind and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, a chair in our room was in a damaged condition. It was ripped underneath and hanging down. This was visible. The inner window curtain rod was broken and hanging off the top of the window frame. The drawer in one of the night tables could have been cleaner, I wiped up some particles from the inner drawer and the lamps. The bathtub was very dingy and I did not want to shower in it. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper. It looked like it was damaged and a metal stick was sticking up the middle of the drain hole. I think this facility needs updating.

The check in staff (Anne) was wonderful. However, when I checked out, I informed the front desk there was a problem with the heater in the room. It wouldn't cut off even when set at 58. We had to get up during the night and open the door just to let some of the stifling air out. It was so hot it was hard to breathe. Also, the toilet rocked like a rocking chair. Her response was, "Yeah, okay." She clearly had no intention of telling anyone in maintenance about it. Lancaster doesn't have much choice in hotels, but I'm tempted to forego the convenience of being close in order to be able to rest. Fort Lawn, Monroe, and Rock Hill aren't that far away. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were like rocks. We were deeply disappointed.

The bathroom was not clean there were dead bugs on the floor. We ask for a bottom floor because we were traveling with a disabled person. The lady running the front desk did not no know what she was doing she asked my name like 10 times everytime she had to enter something in the computer. It took us forever to get checked in, there was a line behind us due to here being so slow and having to call people to know what to do when she was doing a simple check in. Checking out was great because it was a different people and she was super sweet!
