The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good each morning. The coffee they use in the rooms is terrible! It tastes like the paper cups. A different brand with a stronger coffee flavor would probably work. The parking lot needs some holes patched. It’s a very old hotel but very convenient to the airport.

I stayed two nights, yet my room wasn’t cleaned. I came back to the wet towels on from my shower and an unmade bed. That said, the room was well maintained and bed, bedding very comfortable. Plenty of nice fluffy pillows. Breakfast featured hot bacon or sausage and eggs. Also a make your own waffle station. Typical breakfast breads, juices and yogurt. If they’d offer daily maid service my review would be 5 stars!

The rooms are clean, the breakfast is pretty good. Believe it or not, this is a convenient location for exploring Rochester. It is fairly close to downtown and to Charlotte. Very close to both 390 and 490. The price is reasonable.
