Vacations Close To Roca Lake

I wanted to write a good review in the worst way but I cannot. I had such great memories of the Rio from the 1990's, but things have changed, or maybe they were never updated. -Could not get a bite to eat anywhere on prperty after 9 PM -There is literally 1 Blackjack table, cannot really stay and gamble here -The decor in the room was so dated, dark and boring, it was depressing. Shower spicket was rusty and pitted. -Hotel is obviously struggling so there is not ebough employees for check in and check out, long wait. -On the positive side there was a Black Jack Dealer named Mila who was so nice and fun to play cards with. The Eggslut restaurant was pretty good in the morning. Room service breakfast was pretty quick and good. -Not bad for a quick stay by yourself just don't count on staying and having fun there or eating at night.

Upgrade restaurants and ate at sip sip wok. They could not get my order correct twice in a row. Waited over 1 hr to get food. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Everything was excellent, just the shower access too high, difficult for elderly people to get in.

No house keeping , was not aware that it wasn’t part of the hotel . It was individually owned.

I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone. It was terrible. Smell bad and hotel check in service was a joke but the cleaning lady was great.
