Vacations Close To Roc de la Coma d'Erts Via Ferrata

Fitness center was adequate. The weight bench seat only had one of 3 fastening screws in place. I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff. One treadmill available. The highlight was the breakfast. Many food options. There was a lady named Alejandra who was super hardworking at the breakfast buffet area. She was always running around working, cleaning, refilling things, etc. She deserves a raise! Would stay again. Room was ok. The walls are a little thin. Decent shower and bathroom.

This hotel is so well-located that it is hard to beat. It really is in the center of Barcelona. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was outstanding.

The worst and slowest check in I have ever experienced, queuing for ages, yes we received a glass of fizz but that didn’t compensate at all. Receptionist told us to use a specific lift which wasn’t working, when we questioned the staff they told us to be patient as there had been a electrical outbreak, not sure why this wasn’t communicated upon our arrival as there was an abundance of staff hovering around, staff reluctant to open the stairs for us which I insisted. Pool times ridiculous opening at 10am. The only positives were the breakfast and bed linen quality although the bed was like a rock. A big mirror that goes off and on whilst doing your make up isn’t ideal either….. no way near a 5 star hotel hugely disappointing as this was a treat for myself and my daughter and the price is not on the cheap side so I expected much better.

We loved staying at the Lamaro while we were in Barcelona. The location was excellent because the Gothic Quarter has lots to see, but it was also only a 15-30 minute walk to a lot of other sites, including the beach, many of Gaudi’s houses, and the Sagrada Família. I also ordered their birthday chocolate mousse cake for my spouse’s birthday, and it was insanely delicious. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Barcelona.

The rooftop was closed it wasn’t advertised when booked. The description on Expedia doesn’t portray the actual look of the hotel. The hotel renovation that are being done may be the outcome of the hotel. The 2 Fire alarms one in the afternoon and 1 at 5:00 AM was very frightening. That being said I would stay there again. Quiet, clean and good location.
