Las Verandas Hotel & Villas offered a truly beautiful and relaxing stay. The property grounds were clean, well-maintained, and created a peaceful atmosphere throughout. We stayed in a spacious 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom villa with a private pool, which provided both comfort and privacy. The villa itself was very roomy, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. What can I say, I’m happy I found this place for my solo trip journey. Just what I needed, love the property and love everything about the staff. The staff is amazing and the property is well kept. Honestly you don’t have to leave the property if you don’t want to. There’s literally everything there. I like the idea of having a second infinity pool that’s more kids friendly. Food and drinks were good. I can’t wait come back here.

Our room was very clean and well appointed. The food was excellent, the pool and bar staff were also really good. My only criticism was they seemed understaffed, as the service times seemed a bit too long and that was directly due to staffing (we waited 25 minutes just to have someone take or dinner order the last night we were there. Regardless, we will be coming back.

Our recent visit to Veranda Resort Hotel was a last minute decision based on an unplanned trip to Roatan. However, we were lucky to find very affordable rates through Travelocity, which proved to be a steal. What we found was an amazing 5 star accomodations that began with our check-in, assisted by a young lady named Sam, followed up by dinner, and a personable staff, headed by the Manager Hector, who introduced us to several local drink options, and his staff. We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the experience. The lodging is terrific and diving, jet skiing, snorkeling and sailing are right there on the beach. The restaurant and bar (which also serves food) have good food and drinks. However, it often felt as though they were understaffed and running a bit frantic. It wasn’t uncommon to see the wait staff talking when guests were waiting to order or get food. The two restaurants are the main eateries at the resort and there are no restaurants nearby. Unless you have a car, you either hire a taxi or eat at the resort. One evening, both restaurants closed for a private event and all guests had to either eat at the golf club, which was basic and not very good, or take a taxi somewhere. It’s not very logical to close both restaurants and leave your guests stranded. Poor decision. I spoke to the manager, who has been in place only a month, and shared my observations. She seemed genuinely open to the feedback. I recommend Las Verandas, but I would confirm you will have access to everything before booking.

my stay at las verandas was an absolute dream. safety was my main concern as a solo traveler and i must say i felt very safe at the property. They had guards patrolling the area. Shoutout to Sam, the receptionist, she was great!!! very friendly and knowledgeable of the island and activities. The room was clean and well kept.
