The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and located in the building next to the hotel. The fan was helpful with the heat as air conditioning is not available due to the heritage building in keeping with the town inside the city walls. It was challenging to get our luggage to the hotel as there is no other way than pulling them for about 400 meters over cobblestone from where the hotel parking is located. I suggest you pack light as the small wheels on suitcases make the trip difficult. The flavoured cold water in the lobby is a nice touch but only available as a welcome drink when you arrive, not for refills. Overall a pleasant stay in a beautiful town!

NO AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!!!!! Breakfast was good tho, but wont be back because of the lack of air conditioning. Also no elevator with a 4 story building which is fine for young people, but anybody with mobility issues will struggle with this hotel and the town itself is super challenging with the cobblestones combined with the town built on a steep hill. No driving allowed inside the town either. In summary, we didn't enjoy our stay here or at any of the restaurants.

I liked the hotel a lot, it was comfortable and well located. I also appreciated the fact they gave me a "special treatment" after issues I had at hotel's restaurant. I didn't like the fact only one receptionist could speak in english (the younger one who wears glasses).

Beautiful hotel with good service.

The hotel Saint Nicolas is a very pleasant hotel in the medieval town center of Riquewihr. I have bee staying here on several occasions and can recommend the place. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms are fitted into old buildings, so they have a lot of character and no air condition. But the rooms are spacious, clean and have gorgeous views towards the streets of medieval Riquewihr.

Nice hotel in the heart of Riquewihr

The hotel is located nicely just next to the main street of Riquewihr. It has limited number of parking spaces just outside city gates, so reservation is recommended. The rooms are located in different building. Our room was located in the old builkding with fairly modern inside interior (that did not match with the building). Room was though convenient. Note that there is no a/c so the rooms may be very hot during summer. Good quality basic breakfast.

This is a very quaint and charming little hotel just a block away from the main street so it's quiet. Breakfast was great. If you want an authentic B&B like kind of experience, this place will check all your boxes...it has all the traditional decorations in the lobby.
