A thoroughly enjoyable stay. All the staff we encountered were so warm and friendly. Our room was very well equipped and spotless with quality fittings. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and great quality, the breakfast staff were very polite and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely look to return.

There is nothing at all to complain about the property as its location is excellent and the structures are full of character whilst having been modernised to a very high standard. The main house on the estate looks like a picture from Downton Abby with its huge lake behind the B&B. The breakfast was as good as it gets - all in all a great place to stay.

The rooms were fully equipped and the breakfast was gorgeous with no fatty bacon! They also serve home made marmalade , lovely. The beds were comfortable, water and milk provided and left in the fridge, in the room! Beautiful garden to sit in and the staff were lovely. I would definitely stay there again !!

Arrival was easy, nobody manning reception but was not a problem, key left on the side clearly labelled and clear instructions etc. Room clean and well presented, good amenities, including tea, coffee, fresh milk etc. Room not perfectly blackout with some streetlight coming in round the side of the curtains, and a faint green light from the fire exit sign, not something that bothers me as I sleep with my eyes closed, but some day dreamers might want a blindfold. Bed was clean, very comfortable and we had an excellent and quiet night’s sleep. Shower was fabulous; excellent pressure, temperature, no leaks and well maintained. Fantastic breakfast that you pre-order the previous day by ticking a few boxes and post the form at reception. It meant in the morning ingredients were clearly fresh and delicious! Top notch! Checkout similar to check in and nice and simple. Enjoyed our stay very much and would love to re-visit another time. Thanks!

Fantastic little find and will definitely stay again. I would highly recommend this little gem of a place with such friendly staff. The wee lodges were epic. My only criticism was not knowing the wee pub across the road, the Stavely Arms isnrun by the same team, as we would have dinner there had we known. The breakfast was epic, and the bed was super comfy. Well worth the money we spent both on the accomodation and in the bar.

Very nice establishment in an absolutely charming village close to Ripon. The Manager Niel went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. Breakfast was awesome. One slight downside is the village pub is temporarily closed. But due to reopen in October.
