“Visited in August 2026, nice & clean room, friendly staff, overall great experience”

“Furniture in rooms very well kept. Carpets however, need a really good clean throughout. Breakfast was excellent and so tasty. Bar area really nice with different areas to sit. Lovely nights sleep and really powerful shower. Would recommend and stay here ourselves again”

“This is looking dated. Threadbare carpets in communal areas and rooms. Mattress is hard as nails and likely been there a while. And strangely there is a lack of power sockets in rooms. Wouldn’t go back alas.”

“Helpful staff & smooth check in. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. Our room only had a fan to keep...

“On our arrival we were met by the delightful owner who made us feel very welcome. She was also a source of information which proved extremely beneficial. Our room was part of the converted stable block which was fine apart from the small windows which made the room dark and claustrophobic. Had we stayed longer then I would of asked to be moved. The bathroom was impressive which consisted of both shower and slipper bath. Food good served by young staff who looked after all our needs really...
