Staff is super nice, food, environment and you are very close to alot of places. Hotel is not super fancy, but is really good. Location is good, but you will see A couple of people outside that might scare you, but overall i felt safe, and staff was great.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, but it is old. Elevators take a long time. My bathroom kept backing up and leaking. Door would jam shut and I had to be shown by staff the “trick” to get door open. Which implies it’s a known issue they are not looking to fix any time soon. The rooms can be noisy from street traffic through the day and night. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed one night at the Regency Park Hotel in Rio de Janeiro and had a lovely experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, which made it easy to relax after a long day of travel. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a great variety of options, definitely a highlight of our stay. What truly stood out most, though, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely cared for and added a personal touch to our visit. We would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rio and who wants to be in city.
