My stay here in Windsor was amazing, the location in the downtown, near to the airport and other facilities like museum and Sambódromo. The costumer services was really helpfully and kind all the time. Breakfast option 10/10.

I have traveled the world. I have seen the rudest receptionists I have ever seen in my life in this hotel. I will never pass by it again. The reception managers were also very rude. I recommend you to think twice before choosing this hotel.

The hotel is situated in the center - downtown. The chamber was basic yet at a high price. There were tears in the walls. Staff was nice but don't speak other language than Portuguese, unless you go at the front desk where most staff can at least communicate in a suitable english. The environment is definitely not as beautiful as Copacabana or Ipanema witch are better situated and better looking. If you are looking for more fancier location, yet a bit far, try near the "Jardim Oceanico" station. It's the most upgraded part of the city.

The location was perfect for the carnaval Less was; Breakfast could be still 11 instead of 10. More people at the counter who speaks engish. Such a big concern as Windsor. Give your personel at the counter free Engish lessons.

Bom hotel no centro do Rio, regiã estranha à noite

Hotel grande é bem estruturado, no centro da cidade, com os benefícios de ficar perto de comodidades como o aeroporto SDU e pontos turísticos e boêmios da cidade. Mas também com as mazelas do centro, como ruas tomadas por camelôs e mal frequentadas à noite.

It is a good business hotel, although since my last visit, a few amenities have been removed, such as the sitting area - no more sofa or armchair to sit and relax. Just a bed and a mall chair. Also, no coffeemaker in the room.

Fui receosa por ser no centro, mas eu me surpreendi muito positivamente. Quarto amplo e confortável, água quentinha do banheiro, tudo cheirosinho e limpinho. O café da manhã é excelente, mesmo com o hotel lotado, não deixavam faltar nada. E a paisagem da cobertura é linda. Enfim, indico e pretendo voltar, inclusive para quem tem filho pequeno como eu.

Ótimo hotel na localização central

Se a sua intenção é ficar no centro do Rio, essa é uma ótima opção. O hotel é bom, quartos grandes e confortáveis. Tudo bem limpinho, chuveiro bom, cama boa e café da manhã extremamente variado e de qualidade. Fomos para a maratona do Rio e o hotel de forma muito gentil antecipou o café da manhã para que os corredores pudessem tomar um café antes da prova. Um dos pontos a melhorar é a questão do check in e check out que faz muita fila e o ar condicionado, que é extremamente barulhento. De resto, adoramos!

Viagem em casal a trabalho no final de semana

Já gostei do hotel no primeiro contato a distância, quando liguei sem ter efetivado a reserva para saber se poderiam guardar minha mala antes do check in, pois meu vôo chegaria muito cedo e queria aproveitar a cidade livre de mala. Quando cheguei, o atendimento foi muito rápido e sem burocracia para armazenar a bagagem no depósito. O check in e check out foram rápidos e simples, mas precisei aguardar alguém verificar o quarto e dar o ok para a recepção. Isso foi feito via telefone. A localização do hotel é bem cômoda para quem vem do Santos Dumont, pois tem estação de VLT em frente. A região no final de semana não era muito movimentada, mas foi tranquilo e seguro aguardar por táxi/uber. Café da manhã maravilhoso! Para mim o mais surpreendente. Variedade de pães, croissant, frutas, bolos caseiros, sucos, e tudo disposto no restaurante de forma a não concentrar o fluxo de pessoas em um só local. Quarto amplo, roupa de cama limpa e cheirosa, assim como as toalhas, e ar condicionado bom. Senti falta de amenidades, mas mais por uma gentileza e não necessidade. Tinha somente um pente pequeno, touca, sabonete e shampoo 2 em 1. Utilizei a academia, que tem aparelhos de cardio e um equipamento para treino geral de força.

Manifestação de insatisfação – Hospedagem no Hotel

Prezados, Venho por meio desta manifestar minha profunda insatisfação com a experiência que tive durante minha hospedagem no Hotel Windsor Guanabara, na noite do dia 12 de junho de 2025. Infelizmente, diversos aspectos da estadia ficaram muito aquém das expectativas para um hotel da rede Windsor, especialmente após sua recente renovação. Logo ao chegar, me deparei com toalhas visivelmente velhas e manchadas, o que já gerou um primeiro sinal de descuido com os itens básicos de higiene. A coberta disponibilizada no quarto era de qualidade extremamente inferior e, mesmo após solicitar a troca, o item substituído, embora ligeiramente melhor, ainda não condizia com o padrão que se espera de um hotel desta categoria. O ponto mais crítico, no entanto, ocorreu na madrugada, quando precisei tomar banho para sair cedo para compromissos profissionais e não havia água quente disponível, algo inaceitável, especialmente em uma noite fria no Rio de Janeiro. Além desses problemas, o café da manhã também deixou muito a desejar. As opções eram limitadas e a qualidade dos alimentos servidos estava aquém do mínimo esperado, com alguns itens apresentando aparência e sabor duvidosos. Diante de todos esses pontos, não posso deixar de registrar minha enorme decepção. Esperava uma experiência confortável, compatível com o padrão Windsor, e recebi um serviço que não condiz sequer com hotéis de categoria inferior.
