The staff were very helpful and friendly - even when we arrived at 1am. The room was clean and comfortable, however after a long flight, our sleep was not the best as we could hear a family next to us slamming their door constantly and then eating breakfast (plates and cutlery banging) through the walls. I want to take the time to say thank you to the entire staff of PortoBay RJ. Alison did my check-in and was stellar, his colleague Alice who helped me with tiny issues that came up with our room (2) and gave me suggestions for hair products, we could not have asked for a kinder staff. The few small issues we had were immediately resolved and when we forgot cutlery after having to get food later in the night they team did not hesitate.Thank you to the entire team for making our stay peaceful and pleasant.

Don't hesitate to stay here. Excellent staff, mouthwatering breakfast (including overnight oats!), nice room, good facilities, great rooftop pool. The only negative—which the hotel can't control—is the noise level, which in high season can be unpleasant. Bring earplugs.
