The hotel is new in the area. Area is up and coming, but is in an old part of the city. Lots of new construction around to better the area. Is 5 to 10 min drive to city center. Nothing in walking distance. Staff were very friendly. Hotel is clean and being maintained well.

The property itself is fairly new nice and clean but only valley parking available and and no street parking whatsoever. the reception is on the fourth floor makes it very inconvenient. The neighborhood is a low end with an upcoming developments, therefore, a lot of construction.

second time staying @ this hotel during this trip indicates how nice it is to stay there lovely aparthotel a bit off the beaten track from all the touristy places but easy to get about the area if you are comfortable using the tram o/ metro systems if not uber is cheap in Rio pros - modern hotel , spotlessly clean , friendly staff , big rooms , big bed , lovely hot clean shower & toilet area decent buffet breakfast cons - bit out of the way if you are uncomfortable using public transport , cable tv very limited english language channels

I stayed here to celebrate my parents’ honeymoon and our last two nights in Brazil together. I’d arranged a special treat in their room, confirmed multiple times, yet it wasn’t delivered as promised. When I asked the concierge, they mentioned it should’ve been arranged directly on Intercity’s site due to full capacity. Since I enjoy using Expedia, I didn’t see the need to book through the hotel’s site. The treat did eventually arrive, but only well into our stay, which felt disappointing. Additionally, my room’s air conditioning didn’t work on the first night and was only fixed just before check-out. I later learned the previous guest had the same issue, so it was already known to the staff. On the positive side, breakfast was great, the common areas were lovely, and the night crew – concierge, maintenance, and valet – were attentive and professional.

Funcionário péssimo na recepção 😠

Na chegada ao hotel o rapaz da recepção (Vitor, se não me falha a memória) não tinha boa vontade em atender, pareceu que estava procurando um motivo para que as coisas dessem errado, tudo pra ele parecia um problema e não demostrava interesse em ajudar, entregou apenas uma chave para o quarto, enquanto minha cunhada que foi atendida por outra pessoa recebeu duas, o que é muito mais cômodo pq a chave era necessária até no elevador. Eu precisei de manutenção no quarto pq a porta do banheiro caiu, liguei pra recepção e foi o mesmo querido que atendeu ele disse que ia mandar alguém mas não veio ninguém pra consertar a porta ficou pra lá pendurada a ponto de cair em outra pessoa.
