Excellent location 2 blocks feom copacabana. Now my favorite beach anywhere. RDJ isn't a perfect city but as long as you dont stray into where you shouldnt.go and do it is reasonably safe. The beaches were amazing and Hotel Canada was a great deal for the price. Not 5 star but it didnt lack any basic needs and cleanliness was aceptable. It was a great deal for the price. Shopping, dining beach all walking distance

Terrible hotel labeled as 3 star

Stayed 4 nights to watch Carnival. Location is good (only good thing for the stay). Hotel conditions are terrible. Labeled as 3 star hotel, but don't think it is better than any 1 or 2 star motels (in terms of US or Europe standard). Bath towels are dirt, suppose to be white but what we see is dirt yellow colors, looks like 20 years old towels even ripped off. Some staff are helpful, some not. I will not come back again.

Great team, great service. Friendly place.

Stayed in this hotel a few times, various rooms/floors. It's very basic and dated but my experiences have been positive overall. It's usually very clean but above all the staff are superb. Very helpful, very friendly...a winning team from the cleaners, porters to reception and cooks. Very pleased with the service and it makes up for what the building lacks (like charging/plug sockets in the rooms!) it is mostly good value, and the breakfast while simple..is good and fresh. Noise in some rooms is a little loud but I requested quieter rooms and had good success with that, comfortable sleep.

ISSO NÃO E BRINCADEIRA.

Hotel antigoz ate aí nenhum problema, mas o quarto que fiquei era nom13 andar ( elevador não chegava) dava pra ver qie era um "puxadinho" sem estrutura e limpeza adequada. Tv quebrada, box quebrado, colchao em pessimo estado. Dois dias de pouco sono. Estrutura realmente precaria. Em nenhum momento me foi informado sobre esse grande detalhe. , uma pessoa com problemas de locomoção, idoso, crianças, podem se machucar facilmente.

Confusão na hora do checkin

Tive problemas com a minha reserva. Cheguei bem antes do horário do checkin, por volta das 8h, pedi para deixar a minha mochila, o que foi concedido. Contudo, o staff me informou que não havia encontrado a minha reserva. Eu mostrei os meus comprovantes de reserva e pagamento e disse que voltaria por volta das 14h, horário do checkin. Ao voltar, a atendente ainda não havia resolvido o problema e chamou o gerente. O gerente me disse que não havia quartos disponíveis e tentou me mandar para um outro hotel, na Lapa. Eu não aceitei! Aí ele me disse que havia um quarto, porém com camas de solteiro e eu havia reservado cama de casal. Aceitei a troca. O banheiro do quarto tinha odor de urina, que era tão forte, que dava para sentir do p´roprio quarto. Fiquei só uma noite. Nesses aspectos, deixou muito a desejar. A localização é ótima.

Localização e conforto

Ótimo local para quem gostaria de ir à praia de Copacabana e as outras praias na arredondeza, dá para ir até a pé, em 1min já estávamos na praia de Copacabana. O quarto no geral não é confortável a cama não é muito boa e o café da manhã não é excelente, mas pela localidade, o custo benefício é bom. Tem muitos comércios e restaurantes na vizinhança, muito bom também.

Hotel caro, totalmente desconfortável! Pagamos caro para ficar em um hotel porque achamos que seria mais confortável, mas nos deparamos com um quarto escuro que parecia uma caverna, “cama de casal” era simplesmente duas camas de solteiro juntas, ar-condicionado dos anos 90 fazendo barulho mais que tudo, sendo impossível deixar ligado pra dormir, sem falar que ele não tinha controle para regular e tinha que ficar ligando e desligando na própria tomada. Inclusive essa tomada estava em uma situação com risco grande de tomar choque ao fazer esse manuseio. Lençóis com aspecto de sujos, travesseiros ruins, banheiro velho com aspecto de sujo, limpeza da faxineira era ruim e ela sempre dizia que não tinha alguns itens para repor tipo pano para o chão, toalhas de rosto. Por fim, o café da manhã. Acho que foi o pior de tudo, pois tinha poucas opções, faltavam itens tipo talheres, xícaras e quando tentava falar com mulher responsável ela era extremamente grossa. Ah! Ainda sobre o banheiro, um dos dias na estadia faltou água quente e o tempo estava meio frio e tivemos que tomar banho extremamente gelado porque iríamos sair e não podíamos esperar mais voltar água quente (detalhe que a falta da água quente durou mais ou menos umas 12 horas). Você deve estar se perguntando, “se estava tão ruim porque não pediu reembolso e foi pra outro lugar?”. Bom, primeiro que fazer isso não é tão simples, segundo que era um período com mais eventos na cidade e tudo estava cheio e alugado. Não caia nessa!
