Good place e to say regarding price and location. The staff were extremely friendly and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel was very clean. The bathroom sink faucet and the toilet appeared ready to be updated.

3 min. walk to tram. Helpful and obliging staff. Clean hotel. Renovated room. Tile floors in hall and thin walls meant a rather noisy stay but staff expressed genuine concern and were very accommodating. Supermarket and self-serve laundry at considerable distance.

Main door to unit's closing mechanism in disrepair. Room lock safe had pieces of wall missing around it. Makeshift repairs. Not much in the way of making you feel safe/secure.

This is the worst hotel I've even been to (and I do travel a lot). Breakfast was OK and the staff was friendly, but the property is extremely old, dirty, smelly and in horrible condition. The surroundings are just like the hotel, plus a lot of beggars and pick pockets (you should totally avoid staying in the downtown area of Rio).
Ruined walls, dirty and unpainted.

O pessoal do hotel é super prestativo e educado. Não sei se foi o quarto q fiquei ou se todos os quartos são daquele jeito, mas a experiencia la foi horrivel. Cobertores pareciam aqueles que moradores de rua usam, chuveiros e torneiras com aspectos enferrujados e pingando agua mesmo apos fechados, tomadas não funcionando. O quarto tinha um cheiro constante de mofo e umidade, mesmo aparentando estar limpo. A vista do quarto era horrivel: uma janela em frente a varios canos e tubulações, colado numa parede. Foi dificil enxergar a beleza do Rio nesse lugar... Sinto que ja foi um hotel muito bom, mas me pareceu largado infraestruturalmente falando. A região em que ele está não ajuda muito também. A noite é completamente desolado e rodeado por moradores de rua e usuários de droga, sem contar a falta de iluminação.
