We stayed at Américas Gaivota Hotel for one night and it was a horrible experience. We arrived around 10:00 pm and the room was dirty and old, with stained sheets and mold in the bathroom. Within minutes, my husband was bitten multiple times by mosquitoes, we killed several but they just kept coming. I was also bitten on my leg before even falling asleep. After less than an hour of trying, we had to leave because it was impossible to rest. The hallway and even the lobby were full of mosquitoes, and the staff member at the desk was swatting them away while talking to us. Very disappointing stay and definitely not recommended.

Essa é a segunda vez que me hospedo e a forma como essa experiencia foi negativa me desanimou em retornar. Na primeira vez foi excelente. Nessa nova vinda quarto com cheiro de mofo, muitos pernilongos na porta e dentro do quarto, mas o que me pegou foi a sugeira dessa vez... banheiro extremamente sujo, janelas sujas, colchoes desconfortáveis. A administração deixou de fazer manutenções extremamente necessárias... na janela do banheiro, tinham sujeiras que provavelmente estavam escondidas no forro do quarto de cima, como sabonetes velhos etc... foi extremamente desanimador.

Fiquei no quarto 207. Estava limpo, porém uma da fronhas puída e com uma mancha. O banheiro não tinha box, tinha cortina, o que acaba molhando o banheiro todo ao abrir o chuveiro. O batente da porta do banheiro estava quebrado. Tinha shampoo e sabonete, frigobar, armário, cama de casal, geladeira. Não tinha secador de cabelos. O café muito bom, o atendimento na recepção muito bom. Fica perto da praia e em local tranquilo. Recomendo.
