Hotel was next to Bremen exhibit and everything was within walking distance. Riga is very charming and you don't need transportation from thus property. 10 minute walk to bus terminal with buses to Lithuania and Estonia.

Beautiful historical recently opened hotel, right in the center. A the name implies, this is a converted convent. Gorgeous and comfortable big rooms. Quiet except for large old doors that slam shut when people exit their building. Great light. Excellent breakfast and restaurant attached. Friendly and helpful people. Close to everything. Note that there was no elevator in our building so be prepared to climb up to 4 floors, but they have very helpful bag boys to help with your luggage. This place is a HIGH recommend.

Room was immaculate as were the hallways and stairs. Very central location, walkable to all of Old Town and central market. I was in building 2 on the third floor. Just be aware there is no elevator so it was four flights to walk up. Not a problem for me but could be a concern for others.
