I was very grateful for the absolute quiet of this hotel. Not a sound from outside my room - either other hotel sounds or from the street (it was a car-less interior pedestrian street. The only problem was the horrible cobblestone streets and poorly maintained sidewalks. Riga has a lot going for it, but municipal upkeep is not one of those things.

This hotel has an excellent location right in the middle of Old Town, super walkable everywhere, easy to find restaurants and shopping.
