Excellent Hotel A1 ***

Very well organised, exceptionally clean, good food, very comfortable bed, room facilities excellent. What else can I say. I would stay there again. Hotel owners were very helpful and friendly. As short walk out into the village and then further across the bridge offers an excellent restaurant if you feel the need to get out.

Nice boutique hotel just across the border in Belgium and just minutes away from the beautiful Dutch city of Maastricht. The couple that run the hotel are attentive and helpful. The comfort of the room was first rate. There's a little bus near the hotel that has you in Maastricht city center in 15-20 minutes (important note: Uber doesn't operate in Belgium but the hotel will get you a cab if needed). The breakfast is not extensive but enough to get you going in the morning. One teeny tiny quibble: at breakfast, guests are limited to one egg (boiled, fried or in an omelet, but not scrambled). That was okay for my 110-pound wife, but I'm 6-1 and 210 pounds.

The property was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was great to have a restaurant on site and the breakfasts were lovely. Every little detail had been carefully thought through.

Het was een gezellig mooi hotel, mooie kamer, vriendelijk personeel, het ontbijt was uitstekend. Om de omgeving te verkennen konden we alle richtingen uit, dicht bij Maastricht, Luik en andere. Wandeling over het Albertkanaal naar het Ford van Emael, mooie wandeling in het terugkomen langs het kanaal.
