not sme room as photos. no robes, no room service. broken elevators, no hot water heaters. poor fridge. bathroom shower not as intended, the top nozzle wasnt even connected, just for show. food lacking. just generally not impressed by the rio at all

We booked our stay on Hotels.com. Upon arrival, our desk agent, Wendy, learned we were celebrating our anniversary and retirements. She upgraded us to a penthouse 1-bedroom suite, which was awesome. The room was spectacular with a strip view! The only negative about the entire experience was the jacuzzi tub, which had an attached handheld shower head. To fill the tub, we could only use the showerhead, which took about 25 minutes to complete. Not sure if there was an easier way to do this, but there were no instructions, and we could not find a more expedient way to fill the tub. Additionally, the floor surrounding the tub and 2-head shower stall was slick tile, especially when it was wet. Use caution if you have small kids or elderly folks using the shower. All in all, a great experience.
