Castle House B&B is perfectly located right in the centre of Richmond. It is a lovely elegant Georgian property (c1809), full of charm and history with an inviting lounge to meet other guests. The breakfasts are exceptional, catering from light buffet to full English. Our room (Redmire) is probably the smallest (on first floor), but ample enough for a three days stay. Bathroom and carpets could do with a refresh, which have been done to the other rooms (but clean enough not to affect our short stay). Nigel was an excellent host and we would recommend staying here!

Great location right next to the market place, plenty of choice for food and drink. Nearby parking could be issue gets busy but long stay car park few minutes walk away and well priced. Everything you need, comfy bed, bathroom suite in keeping with the room however we would prefer an actual proper shower. Breakfast offering very good would have made it luxury if offering of pastries. Nigel and other staff are brilliant and welcome drink offered with early room checking which was a bonus for us.

The property is very old and full of character. With that comes as expected, lots of steps/stairs and uneven floors. Our room was a little cramped but pleasant, and the breakfast was lovely. The location is great - a couple of minutes walk from the castle and river, and right in the quaint town centre. Parking is limited outside the property but we managed to get the last one.

Was a lovely b&b felt so welcome from start to finish arrived to a friendly welcome and complimentary drinks and help to our rooms which was beautiful and cozy like a home from home all the finishing touches dressing gowns even a hot water bottle the beds was so comfy and lovely soft sheets had a fantastic night sleep didn't want to get up. The breakfast was a definite 10/10 honestly if you get a chance i would highly recommend it i will definitely be returning Thank you

What a lovely BnB, such character within the whole building as its so old. Parking is just outside if you get a space but dont forget to get a parking disc from the property. Our stay was just for one night sadly but would defiantly stay again. there is a honesty bar if you dont want to venture out to the local pub across the road. Breakfast was chosen the night before which we didnt have an issue with, the offerings were excellent including the buffet choice with fruit/cereals and juices etc...before our chosen full English...yummy Didnt have time to stop and look around Richmond itself but it looked when driving through to be a great place to wander and shop in the cobbled square.
