Room and everything was nice. Good breakfast available with lots of options. Only issue was we got noise complaints about our kids at 5 o’clock in the afternoon. Yes they were being silly but trust me 3 kids under 6 could have been way louder and as I said it was only 5pm after a 10 hour car ride.

This is probably one of the nicer places you can stay in Mechanicsville, but it’s not the Ritz Carlton exactly. The rooms are quite spacious. They have a nice breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool looked OK, although we did not swim. The exercise room is pretty good for a hotel of this category. The carpet was a bit tired, as was the paint. One of the stairwells was closed because of a water leak. There is only one elevator, and it is slow. There is sample parking. I’d say, depending on the price, it’s pretty good value.

The room was extremely clean and we appreciated the attention to detail and care the head of housekeeping put into her job. You can tell she prides herself in providing great customer service. The front desk was also very helpful.

The property and the staff were great. The room and bed were quite comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Particularly appreciated the 24-hour access to free coffee and tea. Over the last few weeks, I have stayed at multiple hotels in the Richmond area while attending training near the airport. Although hotel location is about 15-20 minutes away, it is by far the best hotel I have stayed in and much better than the options closer to the airport.

Very helpful and polite staff. Everything was clean, there were a few areas where age was beginning to show but was not a problem. Good breakfast. I will say that the people that designed this motel must have been thinking in terms of 5 year old kids when they ordered toilets. They are way too low for adults and when you get to be 85 like I am, getting up from low positions sometimes presents a challenge.
