A little oasis in Ialyssos.

Nesteled in between other hotels and apartment buildings in Ialyssos there’s a little oasis. A little family run hotel called Platoni Elite. Newly renovated rooms in a very nice decor, great little restaurant and bar, AMAZING breakfast, sunbeds around a pool, top wifi, perfect daily cleaning, wonderful friendly service from the owner and his family. This tiny place beats everything else we have tried in the Trianda area. Stratos, you guys are amazing. See you again!

A fantastic, clean, quiet, family-ran hotel

Everything about this hotel was perfect for what we needed. In the apartment, there was everything you needed to cook breakfast and lunch, the beds were super comfy, the room was cleaned to a high standard every day and you were provided bath towels and pool towels which we really appreciated. The pool was quiet and had plenty of comfy, cushioned sun beds! The hotel bar is only a few steps away for some drinks around the pool. The family who run the complex are so friendly and polite and cook the best traditional Greek food! They always went above and beyond with anything you needed. It’s only a 5 / 10 minute walk to the beach and all the bars and restaurants. I always felt safe walking home late at night. The family have the cutest dog but I fell in love with one of the stray kittens and named her Kiki so if you see her, please give her some tummy rubs from me - unfortunately my partner wouldn’t let me take her home. Thank you for such an amazing stay! We’re hoping to return next year!

Me and my boyfriend came to Rhodes for a holiday for 12 nights and stayed at the Platoni Elite. The apartments were very well situated and a short distance from the supermarket (literally just over the road) and the beach (10 minute walk). Ialyssos town was a 10 minute walk away with plenty of restaurants and shops. Bus stops were a short distance away from the apartments, with the bus being able to take you to Rhodes town as well as other areas - it was 3 euro for a single journey in which you could travel anywhere on that bus route for that much. There was options to hire motorbikes and quad bikes too. There was a well-kept pool area with comfortable sun beds and a restaurant area. The food was very tasty, with breakfast, lunch and dinner options available. The vanilla milkshake was lush. Our apartment was spacious and cleanly, and the air-con worked very well, keeping both the bedroom and dining/ kitchen area cool. The room was cleaned daily; the cleaner was very nice and even left us lovely heart-shaped towels on one morning. The family who ran the apartments were very welcoming and friendly - as a token they gave us a gift bag on our departure which was very kind of them. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and genuinely didn’t want to leave, especially with the sweetest group of kittens residing close to the area as well, who we will also miss very much. We would definitely return to the apartments if we came back to Rhodes. Thank you for your hospitality.

En pärla bland alla hotell på Rhodos! S U P E R !

Fantastisk upplevelse att bo på familjära Platoni Elite lite i utkanten av Rhodos. Värden Stratos var oerhört tillmötesgående och hjälpsam, och hjälpte till med att boka taxi såväl från som till flygplatsen. Eftersom vår taxichaufför försov sig när vi skulle åka till flygplatsen tidigt på morgonen (läs 04.20), ringde vi Stratos (vilket han bett oss göra ifall taxin inte skulle dyka upp), och inom en kvart satt vi i en ny taxi på väg till flygplatsen sedan han ringt några samtal. Vilken hjälte! Dessutom gav han massa goda tips på saker att göra (och undvika) som turist. Resan kröntes med ett besök på en lokal restaurang i närheten rekommenderad av Stratos själv, dit lokalbefolkningen går och äter. Mitt inne bland bostadshusen i ett kvarter hittade vi en restaurang som bjöd på den bästa metupplevelsen under hela resan, och det till ett väldigt bra pris. Hotellet är jättecharmig och bra beläget nära mataffär, strand och busshållplats. Restauranger ligger några kvarter bort, men den som bemödar sig att fråga värden Stratos om tips på var lokalborna äter, kommer att få en smakupplevelse den sent ska glömma, och det till ett rimligt pris.Rummen städades varje dag och ersattes med rena, fräscha handdukar. Det enda vi möjligen saknade var sopsortering, där plast, glas, kartong, kompost och brännbart skiljdes åt. Sammantaget ger vi Stratos och övrig personal högsta betyg. De var helt fantastiska som värdar, och vi skulle inte tveka en sekund att bo där igenom vi skulle återvända igen.

A really wonderful place run by amazing people who

Just back from 10 days in one of the apartments at Platoni and we were very impressed and happy with our stay. It’s a family run business with a real personal touch. Stratos, Marianthi and Yannis run the place, and they are all very hands on. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they will attend to any issues promptly. Such genuine and friendly people who simply cannot do enough to make you feel welcome and ensure your stay is the best it can be – without being overbearing. The apartments were very clean and well maintained and the pool a good size and poolside is lovely, with plenty of sun beds and very peaceful. There are around 10 apartments and 3 villas so it’s never crowded. There’s a supermarket just across the main road (the apartments are set back) and it’s a five minute walk to the beach, and local shops etc. They have an onsite restaurant and provide fantastic and authentic home cooked Greek food. We had planned to cook for ourselves a lot, as I like to cook, but Yannis’ food is delicious with specials every night and so reasonably priced, that we hardly ever cooked for ourselves. Any requests or recommendations for car hire, restaurants or things to do are always forthcoming and if you require anything extra, don’t be afraid to ask as they will respond quickly. For example, we wanted some extra kitchen utensils, and that was no problem. Most impressive of all is the amazing hospitality from Stratos and the family team. We will be back next year.

We had a really relaxing holiday. The owners were really friendly and were available if we had any questions. The apartment itself was really lovely and certainly the best we have stayed in within Greece (First time we have been to Rhodes). The apartment is close to bus links (every 10 mins to Rhodes Town) and is directly across from a supermarket and close to restaurants. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and the bed was super comfy. Although the apartment is close to the airport and main road, it wasn't noisy at all. The only downside was that there were a few really minor things that let the apartment down and that are easily fixable - broken hook/ drinking glass, for example. It would have also been handy for a few more kitchen utensils (e.g spatula/different sharp knives for bread) but again, minor things that didn't spoil the holiday at all. Worth noting the internet is good here (we were able to watch Netflix in the evenings) All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend! :)

Perfect stay !

From the moment I arrived I felt like I was part of the family. Very well looked after. Room was spotless , comfortable, and fully equipped. Pool area looked very inviting. Only problem was no time to enjoy it because of a busy schedule. The home style traditional cooking was delicious. Planning to stay there again next time I’m in Rhodes. Cheers guys!!

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt, auch die Handtücher wurfen gewechselt. Der Besitzer war sehr nett,hilfsbereit und freundlich. Hat sich auch öfter erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Zu unserer Reisezeit Ende Oktober sah der Pool allerdings nicht mehr so einladend aus.

The best Rhodes Experience

Staying at Platoni Hotel for 10 days has been an amazing experience. As we don't like big resorts, but really want a Greek experience we ended up here. We were welcomed by the owner, Stratos and his family. The apartments are really great, the beds are amazing and most of all, the hospitality is unmatched. Stratos is the most amazing host you'll ever get. If you have questions he'll help you in the best way possible. If you're looking for a great meal, his mother will provide. She's an excellent cook who will put great dishes on the table. The swimmingpool is spacious and most of all; the apartment is very clean. I definitely recommend booking a stay here as it has been one of the best 10 days of my life. Thank you Stratos and your family! All the best and we will see you again!

We stayed in the Hotel 1 week and we had a beautiful experience: - The beach was described as awful and instead it was beautiful but a little bit windy, also the colour of the sea is light blue. - The room was big and very clean, also the maid was very gentle and that one time we got out without washing the dishes, she did it for us. - There are a lot of cool places around even if there isn't much life at night - The staff is very gentle and if you don't have something in your apartment you can ask them for help I would recommand this Hotel to anyone

Vi bodde 1 uke. Ble møtt av en fantastisk familie som ordnet med rom til oss selv om det var overbooked. Veldig sentral beliggenhet med kort vei til strand, resturanger, etc.
