This hotel is rated as a 5 star, the food is amazing, the staff are really friendly, but unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the a lot of the rooms being damp and smelly. We did have a few problems but the Manager and Staff were really great in sorting out problems, they honestly could not do enough for us but I would not rate it as 5 star.

Staff were amazing, food was good. Only thing was that we didn’t realise was that you had to bring your own towels which I’ve never seen before at a 5* hotel. They do sell them at the shop on site for 12.50!

good selection of cocktails and food included throughout the day -the pizza and gyros stalls were a particular highlight! would be nice to have more than one pool available to all guests as it is quite a large hotel. not enough sunbeds available as a lot of guests taking over large groups of beds and then not using them... overall a good experience, great fun and the staff were very nice. if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing time by the pool, there are a lot of families and children staying here so quiet is not how I would describe the pool area!

Our stay at the Lydia Maris in Rhodes was very nice. The staff at the hotel are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This includes staff at the front desk, restaurants, bars and the pool staff. They always greeted us with a smile and were alway happy to have a chat. It’s location is in reach of lots of shops and it has a very good reliable bus service to some of the nearby tourist attractions. It’s a lovely hotel but I don’t feel it offers all the facilities of a 5 star hotel as there was no access to an iron, extra fees charged to use the safe. The rooms are a bit dated and need to be modernised but other than that a lovely hotel.

We're just back from 8 days here. First of the staff particularly at reception are fantastic. As soon as you note a problem they get it fixed and are mostly apologetic over issues that happen. Unfortunately for anyone travelling with young children there are a few problems that could easily be avoided if staff reported broken or faulty items such a jagged broken children's table. Others are unavoidable like the towel rack that fell on my 1 year olds head whilst she was on the toilet. The children's pool is extremely slippery with multiple children and adults slipping over. Entertainment is somewhat lacking. Food great array of things particularly if you are not fussy. Vegetarian or vegan is not catered for - I had been told multiple times a dish was vegetarian with bacon or vegetarian with X or simply it is vegetarian no meat or fish to realise it had meat on. On that basis I would not recommend for anyone with an allergy either. Pool area is t cleaned during the day unless you are at the tables. Othe then that staff are helpful and quick to resolve issues. Hotel seems that it was once great but is starting to need repairs/ replacements. One of the few hotels where the road doest lead directly to the pool or exposed part of hotel. Great for travel around the island with bus stop right outside and reception will give a timetable of busses upon request.

Very disappointed with the supposed 5 star hotel. The bed linen was dirty and there was hair everywhere in the bathroom when we arrived. You didn't want to sleep with the duvet because it wasn't clean. The toilet is really old and some of the toilet bowls are already broken. The food is not good at all. Sometimes they gave you frozen baguettes to serve. The food was old and often ice cold. Drinks come in plastic cups which are just rinsed out and not cleaned properly.

- Kamer (standaard met zwembadzicht) * Moderne uitstraling * Alles was aanwezig dat we moesten hebben. Jammer dat je voor kluisje moet bijbetalen * Enkel douche moet nieuwe silicone krijgen (lek) * Bedden iets aan hardere kant, maar wisten we * Kamer die we hadden wel vlak tegen zwembadbar. Dus in avond veel lawaai van animatie of mensen - Eten * All in is wel uitgebreid (ijsjes, pizza, gyros, gewoon restaurant, dranken en cocktails) * Eten was meestal goed op smaak, wel veel in olie * In 2e week begint all in buffet altijd wel wat tegen te steken. * Soms ook eens leuke thema-avond (sushi, Mexicaans,.. ) * Dranken ok voor ons, wel nep merken - zwembad * Groot zwembad * Wel steeds de zonnige plekjes snel bezet door lage zon in oktober * In hoogseizoen lig je daar wel heel dicht op elkaar denk ik * Jammer dat ze bijna 5 dagen nodig hadden om zwembad te kuisen na de storm en overstroming - receptie * Basic * Dame wat koel vonden we. Bij aankomst wat humeurig en bij doorgaan enkel een 'bye'. Geen welkomstdrankje - animatie Niet ons ding. Soms te luid aan zwembad. In avond ook veel te luide muziek. Dat kan gerust wat zachter worden gezet - andere Niet zo gemakkelijk parkeren aan hotel bij veel gasten. Algemeen wel een leuke vakantie gehad. Voor ons een goede 4 sterren. Geen uitstraling van 5 sterren :)

Prima hotel, echter blijkt in het restaurant dat gasten alsnog met slippers korte broek hemdjes en petjes op aamwezig zijn. Het all inclusive concept is prima. Enkel de cocktails waren erg slecht, alsof er geen alcohol in werd gedaan naar behoren. Zelf cappuchino betaald deze werd vers gemalen en bereid a €4, dit was zeker de moeite waard ipv uit de automaat. Kamer met prive zwembad zeer aan te raden. Het publiek de gasten die aanwezig waren maken dit hotel tot 1ster waardig. Vriendelijk receptie medewerkers! Deze zijn zeker 5sterren waardig en proffesioneel. Ontbijmedwerkers was enkel een meneer deze zeer vriendelijk en beleefd was. Bjj de bar stind een meisje heel chagerijnig te werken ten opzichte van de mannen deze hard werken en kndanks vermoeid uitzagen vriendelijk bleven Pizza' zijn perfect bereid! Deze zijj onbeperkt ook broodje gyros was top. Beide mag je meenemen naar de kamer, ideaal. Taxi meneer vanuit het hotel was zeer vakbekwaam, proffesioneel en vriendelijk!

L'hôtel est annoncé comme un 5 étoiles, il n'en est rien, il devrait avoir 3 étoiles maximum. La piscine est bien trop petite pour le nombre de vacanciers, les transats sont alignés les uns à côté des autres tout autour de la piscine sans espace, sans intimité, il y a du monde partout, trop de monde dans la piscine. L'espace terrasse du soir n'est pas ventilé et les chaises et tables en plastique n'ont rien d'un 5 étoiles. Les lits ne sont pas du tout confortables. L'insonorisation entre les chambres est à revoir. Les coffres-fort dans les chambres sont payants ( (20€ par séjour). En revanche, un point très positif, le restaurant, les buffets sont copieux, variés et les produits sont d'excellente qualité. Les pizzas faites sur place dans le jardin sont également très bonnes. Le personnel du restaurant est adorable, ce qui n'est pas le cas du personnel à la réception. Le parking est trop petit et on ne trouve pas toujours de la place.
