Great atmosphere, service, and rooms. The bedding was especially nice. Restaurant has great food at a reasonable price (for Iceland) and you will want to make a reservation because the hotel is quite remote.

This was one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve been to. The hot tubs overlooking the glacier felt like something out of a movie. The bed was comfortable, the rainfall shower was exquisite. Not a lot of food options in the area; bring dinner and snacks or check out the restaurant in the hotel.

“I loved the jacuzzis — the views of the mountains and the small lake are spectacular. Breakfast and dinner were very good. The only downside was that they don’t accept American Express or cash in euros, which made payment a bit inconvenient
