Great stay at Snorri's. Friendly owners and staff. Comfortable, quiet and close to downtown Reykjavik. Woukd stay again!

What a lovely place! From the sharing umbrellas and the bird filled garden to the homemade bread and comfy pillows, you couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay.

The hosts of this property were very responsive to questions ands offering ideas. The breakfast area was lovely and we appreciated a fridge in our room. We also liked the shared kitchen area. Parking was easy and the area was calm.

Great stay and breakfast

My dad and I stayed at this location again because we liked it so well back in September 2022! All the amenities were there and the hosts were most welcoming. A great spread for breakfast. The twin room we stayed in was smaller than the family room (double bed and a single bed) last September.

I’m very satisfied with my stay! They have new very comfortable beds and so soft and fluffy blankets! The breakfast was delicious, fresh croissants every morning and much more! The owners were very friendly and helpful. Convenient location as well. I’d highly recommend that place! O,yes and an espresso machine in each room, what a great start of an exciting day in Iceland!

I took the bus/connector from the airport and it dropped me about 5 blocks away with no directions and all of my luggage, including skis, in a snow storm. Once I found it all was well.

The property is an excellent location when visiting Reykjavik. Also wish to compliment them for a great breakfast each day. We were a little disappointed with the level of interaction from the host. We had hoped to discuss things to do in the city but the hosts were never available. We had the impression from the website that they are normally on site but we’re not while we were there.

Paint peeling from all windows. Leaking faucet. Could not fully stand up except in front of tv. Very strong smell of drain water. Sink drains very very slow. Cannot fully close windows. Sheets & towels were clean.

We really liked the room size and the private bathroom. Bed was comfortable. We were unable to open the front door using the access code provided to us via email, but it worked for the back door. The drapes in the room should extend over the entire window, but they do not. Overall a very good stay despite some minor issues.

the smallest roof room I ever saw rented out as " a standard double room", for more than 200 €! Standing upright not possible, banging head all the time, only 3 m2 ok. Door code on arrival no function. Room change denied, refund denied, tiny windows for fresh air, very noisy. Cannot recommend. Shared bathroom old and tiny, like 2 m2.... upright only on 3 2 possible

Poor communication regarding code for entering guesthouse. Breakfast was ordinary quality. Worst of all there was a foul odor of fish or some weird food and the bathrooms had a sulfur type odor. No exhaust system. Beds were okay. No managerial help other than on the phone.

Was here for a one night stay, this place is charming and is all self check in. Walkable in the area and we were able to park the car directly in front. Our private bathroom was very small and tight, and the water temp fluctuated, but all in all a good stay!

No staff to meet. Check in was super simple! It is however on a major roadway. Shared bathroom facilities which I felt was a bit strange. Water did smell like sulphur. First time I smelled that in the wash but it wasn’t super strong. Average overall.
