The staff at the Sands Hotel is really what set it apart from other stays. Laura & Mira specifically were helpful, accommodating & overall fun to talk to about the area. They also gave us great recommendations for attractions to see. This front desk staff, along with others we didn’t get names of, were a highlight of the hotel. Additionally, the included breakfast was a nice surprise as food is quite expensive in Iceland. Location was in the heart of the city’s we could walk to everything we wanted. Overall, if and when we visit Reykjavik again we will certainly stay at the Sands.

This hotel was in such a perfect location. Walking distance to everything in town including bus stops for tours. The staff was amazing, offering help with transfers, recommendations and getting us into our rooms early on day of arrival.
