You could not ask for a better location than this charming BnB. Our host was very helpful, the breakfasts good, the beds very comfortable, and the building itself had lots of character. Our room was very small but I think that is typical.

This B&B is extremely charming. It's a 2-minute walk from the restaurant/bar/shop district you'll likely spend much of your time in, and the parking garage next door is quite cheap. Steinunn, the hostess, is very kind and makes the best homemade bread. Breakfast in general is delicious and wholesome. She also helped me out when I got kicked by a horse. If/when we return to Reykjavik, I can't imagine staying at a generic hotel instead of here!

Characterful converted old bakery in a very central location near many restaurants and shops. Car park very close by. Super comfy bed and a very warm welcome from the host at breakfast. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a smaller, authentic Icelandic welcome in Reykjavik.

This place really is a treasure. Perfect location in the center of Reykjavík. Beautiful historic architecture and extremely clean. Breakfast in the morning was great… with lots of local treats. We enjoyed talking with our host and meeting some of the other guests around the table. We would highly recommend this quaint and charming guest house!

We were in Reykjavik for the first time just before Christmas 2022 and I really got lucky finding Reykjavik Treasure. Since then, we’ve wanted to see Iceland in summer to get out from the capital and see more. We did it recently in late May and it was everything we imagined. And of course it included a stay at Reykjavik Treasure. It’s centrally located in the downtown, there are plenty of long-term parking facilities within blocks, and it has easy access to restaurants and shops. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful with travel advice, weather and road information, and the breakfasts are fabulous. It’s always great seeing fellow travelers and Steinunn (owner) at breakfast in the morning. We loved our stay and will of course be back in the future. The place really is a treasure.

We had an amazing stay at the Reykjavik Treasure during our 4 day trip to Iceland. The property was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The house is old, so there are some quirks, but they did not bother us. The breakfast was delicious, healthy and filling.

Such a quaint property in a historic home turned into a b & b. The living room and kitchen were such welcoming spaces with beautiful art pieces on the wall and bookcases. The room we stayed in was pretty small, luckily the warmness of the owner and the common spaces made us feel taken care of and at home.
