Fabulous, highly recommended. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We arrived early but were allowed to leave our luggage, use the bathroom and have a snack, all complimentary. We arrived early and left our luggage to explore Reykjavik, which was no problem at all. Upon check-in, we got a room in the basement, under the bar and lobby area, which got me worried about potential noise problems. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available, but the staff approached me later with a spontaneous offer for a complementary breakfast. And the room location turned out to not be a problem. But our favourite part turned out to be the hotel restaurant. The lamb shank and mushroom risotto were some of the best we ever had.

Local 101 was a great stay! The rooms were efficiently designed and very fresh and new. The breakfast was nice and had a good variety of food. And the staff was very nice and accommodating. There is not a single bad thing to note.
