We did not interact with any staff in person, although they were available via messaging. We received a door code that worked for both the main door and our room door via email day of arrival. There was a small common area and well stocked kitchen with fridge and pantry space area for communal hanging out, as well as seating outside. Our room was serviceable for a family of four people. There is a small deck set up with drying racks for clothes or swimwear. The shared bathrooms were generally very clean and functional. The outdoor pool/ gym/ spa is maybe a 5 minute walk away and amazing. The cafe under the hostel is very good and there is a small store, bakery, and ice cream store very close by - maybe two minute walk. I would readily recommend staying here and really my only complaint was that I was roasting the whole time because I'm sensitive to heat.

This hostel was great, the rooms were small but clean and tidy and warm for a winter in Iceland. Very rarely did I have to wait to use the restroom. The cafe below is super convenient and the food is delicious. No complaints

very nice and quiet just outside the downtown. bit of a walk to the busy downtown area of Reykjavik, but if you don't mind that then its worth saving for a less crowded and easy going area. Plus side it was closer to larger stores you may want supplies from (big grocery/costco/etc) and it was easier to hit the road to drive out to tour different sites. Parking was free if you can find it, but there was a fair bit of street parking so we didn't have issues. Kids loved it, would definitely go back

Situated in a quiet neighborhood, this guesthouse has ample parking and a very nice cafe with a full lunch and dinner menu, bar and fresh made bakery items as well. The shower/sink /toilet areas were clean, bedding was very comfortable. The building, public lounges and rooms all felt safe. There are plenty of lockers to lock up extra belongings and a few outdoor spaces to enjoy some fresh air and conversation.

After arriving to check in they could not find my reservation even though I had my confirmation and receipt of payment. They had to call another office who put them on hold to see where was my reservation. They do not disclose that guests have to rent a towel for a few, seriously even that's not provided. Please do yourself a favor and book elsewhere I will not recommend this place.

Room was too small for two people (as wide as bed was) and for our stuff. There was a window sill which was in bad condition. It had got water damage and was moldy. In common rooms were untidy floors and WC. Shower hasn't been cleaned properly for months. There was black mold in the shower enclosure. Stuff were friendly though and there was beautiful and great bakery downstairs in the same building.

Overpriced facility

The hostel was clean (the first day) and cute with a good kitchen and living room area. Unfortunately, our room was literally big enough for the mattress and that's it. The mattress was leaning against the steam heater so I banged my knee on it several times throughout our stay, and could not open the door with our suitcases in the room without putting them on the bed. There were no curtains in our room so it affected our sleep since the sun never sets in the summertime. I honestly thought the no curtains was the most upsetting part of our stay and seems like a huge oversight. The hostel was clean when we arrived, but no one came to clean on Sunday so all guests started commenting on how we had run out of toilet paper, paper towels, and the bathroom was starting to become a bit yucky. Overpriced for what we were provided and would not stay there again without knowing improvements had been made.

Il serait préferable de supprimer et d’indiquer uniquement le lieu à proximité. La cuisine et les couverts n’étaient pas propres. Le tarif est cher pour ce type de prestation.
