The facilities were nice, and the staff were very helpful. It’s not the Guesthouse’s fault, but transportation from the airport and to anywhere around the area is limited and pricey. I guess that’s just the nature of things there. Otherwise, my needs were satisfied.

Guesthouse provides a stopover for the airport but little else. Reception isn't necessary as the code to the room is emailed in advance. Location is in a carpark on the edge of town with no local facilities. However, the guesthouse is clean and functional and the beds were comfortable.

It is like hostel; nice rooms but shared bathrooms, no amendities, but kitchen that can be used mostly all day; if you just need place to sleep. They rent cars next door, can help with taxi/tours and deliveries. Requavik is 1 hour away, Airport is 15 min away. Amazing views from this hotel.

the room was really outworn and the bathroom smelled bad. the rooms where really small and everybody who walked by outside could see into your room. as the windows where not the best, you could even hear what people talked outside. positive was the service of the staff - there is a transfer to the airport you can book for 3500isk per room and they book it for you. even early in the morning. the kitchen is also well equipped, even with some groceries which you can use for your meals.

The hotel is very nice, the rooms are clean and the staff is amicable. The hotel is ideal for those with connecting flights. The area is not very walkable but other than that we had an excellent stay.

Better than a layover in airport

Myself into family members were needing a place to sleep for a few hours during a layover. This place was self check in very close to the airport extremely comfortable beds spotlessly clean no complaints.
